Un Antifaz en el Escenario

Las personas usan antifaces todos lo días, pero creo que nos resultan más invisibles aquellos que llevan puestos las personas que nos deleitan con su arte, quienes tienen la loable tarea de alegrarnos con su talento y de los que esperamos siempre una buena cara.

Este escrito nació sobre la fragilidad de esas máscaras que llevamos quienes de una u otra forma hacemos reír, sonreír y sorprenderse por lo que hacen otros. Con humildad me incluyo porque siempre ando con algún chiste malo diciéndolo en los chat, soy bastante bromista y en cuanto a lo que hago como oficio, no existe nada que me dé mayor alegría que el causar furor o grata sorpresa con mis escritos, videos o fotos.

People wear masks every day, but I think we find more invisible those worn by people who delight us with their art, who have the laudable task of making us happy with their talent and from whom we always expect a good face.

This writing was born about the fragility of those masks worn by those of us who in one way or another make people laugh, smile and be surprised by what others do. I humbly include myself because I always have some bad joke to tell in the chat rooms, I'm quite a prankster and as for what I do as a profession, there is nothing that gives me more joy than to cause a furor or pleasant surprise with my writings, videos or photos.

Detrás de esa cortina facial existen hilos rotos, telas que se van cayendo por diferentes razones y que rara vez dejamos ver al público. De cierta forma, nos inmutamos para lucir profesionales y cumplir a cabalidad con la difícil tarea de entretener.

Estoy super seguro que esto le ocurre a demasiadas personas, es algo normal. De ese conflicto interno surgió este escrito que titule:

Behind that facial curtain there are broken threads, fabrics that are falling off for different reasons and that we rarely let the public see. In a certain way, we flinch in order to look professional and fulfill the difficult task of entertaining.

I am super sure that this happens to too many people, it is something normal. From this internal conflict arose this writing that I titled:

Un Antifaz en el Escenario

No soy actor, pero hoy miércoles, en la víspera de mi cumpleaños número 40, me tracé la meta de hacer cosas distintas y más osadas sobre lo que ya me gusta que es escribir, hacer videos, y tomar fotos. Claro que también hay una adaptación a este ecosistemas que, lastimosamente, no aúpa mucho las apuestas de los creadores literarios.

Asimismo, me dije que añadiría algo de entretenimiento a lo que hago en mi canal de 3speak, siempre respetando aquello en lo que soy nuevo y quienes se dedican profesionalmente a dicho oficio, seguramente podría hacer mejor.

I am not an actor, but today, Wednesday, on the eve of my 40th birthday, I set myself the goal of doing different and more daring things about what I already like, which is writing, making videos, and taking pictures. Of course, there is also an adaptation to this ecosystem, which, unfortunately, doesn't really raise the stakes for literary creators.

Likewise, I told myself that I would add some entertainment to what I do on my 3speak channel, always respecting what I'm new at and what those who are professionally dedicated to that craft could surely do better.
