Mis años dorados en los videojuegos no tienen nada que ver con los graficos espectaculares con que contamos hoy en día, no tiene que ver con las súper computadoras dignas de un gamer que podemos armar hoy por piezas, tampoco tiene que ver con juegos en linea ni los que generan algún tipo de ingreso en criptomoneda por partida. Se trata de un juego genial que podía disfrutar con mis hermanas y mis amigos.

Así que he decidido pedirle a San Nicolás que regresen los años años dorados de los videojuegos, poder sentir aquella emoción al recibir el paque con mi primer control para nintendo USB que conectaba a la computadora, cuando instalé el primer emulador de nintendo 64 para PC. Quiero vivir de nuevo esa época del colegio cuándo teníamos una tarde libre y llegabamos a casa y convertíamos la sala en un salón de juegos.

Aquella vieja computadora, que hoy sería un dinosaurio, pasaba a ser nuestra consola de juegos y cada quien tenía su propio control para que nadie se quedara por fuera.

Mario Kart invadía la pantalla del nuevo televisor de mi casa y comenzaba la locura. Gritos, risas y mucha diversión hacian que el tiempo se pasara volando. Mi mamá llegaba con una deliciosa merienda y mis hermanas aplaudian al que quedaba en el primer lugar del podio y lanzabamos cojines al que llegaba en 4to lugar.

Esos son mis años dorados de videojuegos y desearía poder revivir una tarde maravillosa de estas solo una vez. Poder sentir aquella felicidad adolescente y compartir con mis hermanas y mis amigos a los que tengo siglos sin ver. Ese es mi humilde deseo gamer para estas fiestas navideñas.

My golden years in video games have nothing to do with the spectacular graphics we have today, it has nothing to do with the super computers worthy of a gamer that we can put together today for parts, nor does it have to do with online games or those that generate some kind of income in cryptocurrency per game. It is about a cool game that I could enjoy with my sisters and my friends.

So I have decided to ask Saint Nicholas to bring back the golden years of video games, to be able to feel that excitement when I received the package with my first nintendo USB controller that I connected to the computer, when I installed the first nintendo 64 emulator for PC. I want to live again that time at school when we had a free afternoon and we came home and turned the living room into a game room.

That old computer, which today would be a dinosaur, became our game console and everyone had their own controller so that no one was left out.

Mario Kart invaded the screen of the new TV in my house and the madness began. Screams, laughter and lots of fun made the time fly by. My mom would arrive with a delicious snack and my sisters would applaud the first place finisher and throw pillows at the 4th place finisher.

Those are my golden years of video games and I wish I could relive one of those wonderful afternoons just once. To be able to feel that adolescent happiness and share it with my sisters and my friends that I haven't seen for ages. That's my humble gamer wish for this Christmas holidays.

To thank you in advance dear santa I leave you this delicious gingerbread cookie, I hope you like it. And if you can bring me a new PC controller with its bubble pack I really like to spend time popping the bubbles, it's relaxing.
