NFT World is a decentralized blockchain-based gaming platform. As with any decentralized platform that integrates aspects of finance to govern or manage its platform, NFT Worlds also has its own native cryptocurrency: WRLD. NFT Worlds was officially launched on October 6 2021, as a platform for people to build their own metaverse, all based on the Minecraft ecosystem.
NFT Worlds has been created as the lowest barrier to entry way to create a flexible play to earn metaverse for any project or community. They've solved the complexities of building massively multiplayer metaverse worlds & games, integrating blockchain based transaction layers, verifying player NFT ownership for admission to content and much more. Much of this innovation is thanks to the Minecraft ecosystem and the fantastic creative platform Minecraft itself provides as a foundation. Beyond that, they've created significant technical systems to bring frictionless blockchain integrations for play to earn, cross-linked communities, decentralized infrastructure, in-game token layers and much more to make this possible.
What is WRLD and what is used for?
$WRLD is an ERC-20 token built on the Ethereum blockchain. It is the primary utility token and the token used when playing in an NFT World. Players can use $WRLD tokens to access exclusive experiences, items, benefits, content, and more in NFT Worlds. These tokens are offered to the owners of a world a player is playing in, in exchange for specific experiences, items, perks, content, etc. promised by the world owners in the token exchange. These transactions take place through an in-game user interface connected to the blockchain. We designed the integration of $WRLD tokens with NFT Worlds so that almost any gaming experience, benefit, item or access to content created by world owners and requires players in their worlds of $WRLD tokens to access Such content or participation. In addition, $WRLD is required to purchase optional custom NFT World character NFTs and may sometimes be required in the future for unannounced global NFT Worldwide perks and content.
$WRLD use cases:

- Future Uses: The $WRLD token will always be the primary token within the NFT Worlds ecosystem. It will be integrated into any future use cases for our platform where it makes sense for the community and ecosystem.
Tokenomics
They've developed the initial proposal for $WRLD token distribution with the following goals in mind:
- Heavy incentives for players to join and play in the NFT Worlds ecosystem through play-to-earn rewards.
- Access to $WRLD for the NFT Worlds team to be able to host in-game promotions, lead growth-oriented competitions in worlds, sponsor build & game creation competitions and more.
- An initial distribution of $WRLD to world owners through a claim process. $WRLD will not only be used in game, but also for world specific services, management, utilizing build services from any of our dozens of professional build teams to develop your world(s), and more in the future.
- Staking to give world owners the ability to earn $WRLD over time. This gives current and future world owners access to an additional way to earn $WRLD so they can access world-owner specific functionality and services within the NFT Worlds ecosystem.

In the last period we have seen an increase in interest in projects and coins related to the metaverse. NFT Worlds is among the new coins in this area. The other major coins in the sector, such as Decentraland or The Sandbox, have had a big explosion in the past few months with the boom and hype of the metaverse. $WRLD could be the third coin to join these other two more established projects. Many projects have begun to build their own metaverse on the very lands of NFT Worlds. Now these lands are found at attractive prices, after the boom there was in February-March that brought the floor price of the lands to touch 18 ETH on OpenSea.

After the crash of these past days, WRLD is trading around 0.06-0.07$, a juicy price. The ATH is around 0.59$ and it’s very possible to reach again this price and go also above around 1$ in the next bull run. As NFT Worlds becomes more widely used platforms for the metaverse, the value of WRLD may also gradually increase given the demand for the token to perform functions within the ecosystem.

Dopo il crollo di questi ultimi giorni, WRLD sta scambiando intorno a 0,06-0,07$, un prezzo succulento. L'ATH si aggira intorno a 0,59$ ed è molto probabile che raggiunga nuovamente questo prezzo e che superi anche 1$ nella prossima corsa al rialzo. Man mano che NFT Worlds diventerà una piattaforma più diffusa per il metaverso, anche il valore di WRLD potrebbe aumentare gradualmente, data la richiesta del token per svolgere funzioni all'interno dell'ecosistema.
