Chainlink, creator of the bridge protocol between blockchains, makes it affordable for everyone with the Transporter app!

Chainlink, a leading provider of data feeds for blockchain-based smart contracts, has recently released a new application called "Transporter," designed for cross-chain transaction sending and monitoring.

The Chainlink team announced in a statement that the application was developed using its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), a standard designed to enable interoperability between different chains.

Describing the new Transporter application as "an ultra-secure bridging application," the company explained that it is built on the Chainlink CCIP to bring "unprecedented security" to users who want to transfer tokens between blockchains.

The new app allows for the transfer of various tokens. Transporter enables users to transfer tokens across different chains, including Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, and WEMIX. Chainlink's co-founder, Sergey Nazarov, stated in a press release:

"Transporter makes it easier to harness the security benefits of the Chainlink CCIP for transferring high-value tokens and important messages between chains. Having a secure way to move both value and data across chains is something the blockchain industry has needed for years, and I'm excited that Transporter makes it more accessible."

Chainlink also announced the introduction of a new token transfer mechanism for the CCIP, enabling the transfer of native ETH across the chain through WETH token pools.

"This is the first implementation case of a lock and unlock mechanism in CCIP."

Transporter allows users to track assets. According to Chainlink, the Transporter application is designed to provide users with peace of mind, offering an intuitive user interface and 24/7 support. The application features a visual tracker that allows users to monitor assets and the status of their cross-chain transactions in real-time.

The new application enables users to track their assets and messages at every stage of the transaction, both within the Transporter application and through the Chainlink CCIP Explorer.

No additional costs. The crypto project also stated that the new app does not incur additional costs, only the regular fees for using the CCIP, covering gas costs for completing transactions on the destination chain and fees paid to CCIP service providers.

Chainlink also announced that the first companies to use its new app were Fourth Revolution Capital and Moonrock Capital, both venture capital firms.
