Un dia de Cine con los Peques❤️❤️|| A Day at the Movies with the Kids❤️❤️

Hola amigos de #FamilyandFriends, ¡espero que estén muy bien! Ayer acá en Venezuela se celebró el Día del Niño y, aunque la tragedia nos ha afectado a todos emocionalmente, yo siento que mis niños, por ejemplo, merecían un día diferente. Pero normalmente no me gusta salir el propio Día del Niño porque todo está muy lleno, así que decidimos salir un día antes. Y después de pensar cuál podría ser un buen plan, decidimos ir al cine; que por cierto, es su primera vez yendo al cine, y yo tenía el mismo tiempo que tengo con su padre sin ir 😅 porque a él no le agrada mucho eso, dice: "Si me dan ganas de orinar, no puedo pausar la película" 😒 ¡Y bueno, en un poco más de 12 años no había ido! Pero por los hijos se hace todo, jeje.

Hello friends of #FamilyandFriends, I hope you are all doing very well! Yesterday here in Venezuela, Children's Day was celebrated, and even though the tragedy has affected everyone emotionally, I felt that my kids deserved a different kind of day. However, I usually don't like going out on Children's Day itself because everything gets so crowded, so we decided to go out a day earlier. After thinking about what would be a good plan, we decided to go to the movies—which, by the way, was their first time ever going to the cinema! I hadn't been in as long as I've been with their father 😅 because he doesn't really like it; he says, "If I feel like peeing, I can't pause the movie" 😒. So well, I hadn't gone in a little over 12 years! But you do anything for your kids, hehe.

Buscamos por la web qué estaban pasando y nos decidimos por Toy Story 5. Y aunque el sábado desde la madrugada estuvo lloviendo, finalmente a eso de las 12:00 p. m. pudimos salir. Aquí están estos muchachitos felices porque iban al cine.

We searched online to see what was playing and decided on Toy Story 5! Even though it had been raining since dawn on Saturday, around 12:00 PM we were finally able to leave, and here are these little ones so happy because they were going to the movies.

​Llegamos al cine bajo un palo de agua y casi a la hora de la función. Por suerte, ahora todo es más rápido y tecnológico con las máquinas donde pides las entradas y los combos de cotufas de una vez, así que pasamos rápido.

We arrived at the cinema under a heavy downpour and right around showtime. Luckily, everything is faster and more high-tech now with the self-service machines where you order your tickets and popcorn combos all at once, so we got in quickly.

​La película nos gustó mucho y, gracias a Dios, los niños se portaron muy bien. Aunque Chris tomó mucho refresco, más lo fría que estaba la sala, así que fue dos veces al baño, jaja; pero Ema solo una vez, y gracias a Dios se portó excelente 🥰.

​We really liked the movie and, thank God, the kids behaved so well. Although Chris drank a lot of soda—plus how cold the theater was—so he went to the bathroom twice, haha; but Ema only went once, and thank God she behaved wonderfully 🥰.

​La verdad, esta salida fue tanto para los niños como para mí, que anímicamente no he estado muy bien, pero verlos a ellos felices lo es todo ❤.

​To be honest, this outing was as much for the kids as it was for me, since emotionally I haven't been doing very well, but seeing them happy means everything ❤.
