Crochet lining for glass jars. Recycle and decorate [Esp - ING]

Bendecido día para mi gente maravillosa de hive y especialmente para los creadores y amantes del crochet. En muchas ocasiones les he comentado que soy feliz con mis creaciones a crochet, cuando el estrés me asalta mi mejor terapia es tejer, por eso no dudo en recomendar esta actividad como hobby o pasatiempo que además puede convertirse en una forma de obtener ingresos adicionales. El proyecto que hoy realicé me llenó de alegría, confirmando las maravillas que podemos crear con nuestras manos.

We begin this tutorial with rows 1 and 2: We start with the color purple and in a magic ring we knit 16 double crochet stitches (P.A.), we close by pulling the yarn until it fits perfectly. In row N°2 we knit three chains; this will be the first double crochet, then one single crochet and 2 chains every two double crochets, until we close with a slip stitch.

Row 3°: We will make two A.P. on top of the A.P. of V.2, a chain and an A.P. in the space, repeat the sequence until the end.

Rounds 4 and 5: Knot the yellow yarn and work cross stitches. The fifth round is a row of single crochet stitches.

In the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th rows; we will knit arches: We pick up 7 chains, pick up a loop and knit a double crochet in the third cross stitch of the 4th row, followed by 5 chains and a double A.P., skip a cross stitch and insert. Repeat this sequence in the following rows, inserting in the center of each bow.

Rounds N° 10 and 11, are in single crochet: We knit 3 single crochet stitches in each arch and in the next round 3 B.P. and skip one and so on to decrease the knitting to the edge of the jar so that it fits tightly.

To give it a touch of elegance, I made a delicate cord, intertwining two yellow threads and a purple thread, to the ends of which I added some pearls. I also made a small fabric for the lid of the jar and glued it with hot silicone.

As we can see these linings are easy to knit, I liked them because we can match yarns of different colors achieving beautiful chromatic harmonies and it is also very useful to use yarns left over from previous projects. Highlighting the importance of recycling glass jars that we can reuse for our benefit and for the environment.
