Manos a la Obra // Let's do it

I cut out a design from a magazine where yellow predominated and I pasted it in the center of the jar, on it I pasted a piece of green foami.

On top of the green foami I placed the label that identified the spices, for which I took two pieces of yellow paper and wrote there by hand: Oregano and Cumin.

I removed a layer from the recycled cardboard (I peeled it) so that it was ribbed, I cut two 1 cm wide ribbons and glued them to the bottom of each jar.

Later, I glued a piece of jute fabric to the upper edge of the bottle, from which I had previously removed some fringes.

To decorate the covers I wove two flowers (one flower for each cover), using for this a yellow yarn and a hook No. 3.00 mm.

¿Cómo tejí las florecitas?.

How did I knit the little flowers?.

1st Round: The knitting starts with 6 chains, to make a ring that I closed with a slip stitch.

2° Vuelta: Realicé 14 puntos bajos en dicha anilla.

2nd Round: I made 14 single crochets in said ring.

3rd Round: I started with 4 chains, skipped a chain and threaded the hook in the third chain and so on until finishing that round with 2 chains and a double crochet in the chain where I started this back.

4th Round: I started with 4 chains, threading the hook in the center of the arch of the 3rd round until finishing with a slip stitch.

5th Round: In each chain-space of the 4th round I knit 6 single crochets, to conclude by cutting the thread, knotting it through the middle of the last chain, then the thread is threaded on a needle and introduced into the fabric little by little until lose the thread.

Finally I glued a little flower on the lid of each bottle and to enhance the work, on top of the flower I placed the cap of toothpaste.

This is how I decorated my cute oregano and cumin storage jars. I hope you are encouraged to elaborate them.
