Bueno, se que estuve muuucho tiempo ausente, pero ya regresé, y aunque tengo muchas ideas de publicaciones y he visto que hay iniciativas y demás, quise hacerlo con lo que hizo que tomara un tiempo para alejarme de hive.
Y fue el hermoso reencuentro que tuve con mi abuela, después de 7 años sin verla.

And it was the beautiful reunion I had with my grandmother, after 7 years without seeing her.

Como sabrán, vivo en Venezuela, y dado a las circunstancias y problemas políticos y socioeconómicos que mi país a atravesado, muchas personas han decidido emigrar a otros países, entre ellos, mi abuela.
Fue hace más de 7 años, y cuando decidió irse, me dolió mucho ya que siempre he sido muy apegada a ella, es una persona espectacular, amable, cariñosa, comprensiva.
En fin, una mujer hermosa por dentro y por fuera. Y aunque no lo decía mucho, a extrañaba demasiado y la verdad sentía que pasaría muchísimo más tiempo para poder verla.
Pero no! Tuvo que regresar con su esposo para hacer unas diligencias y sacar unos papeles y aunque estábamos en ciudades distintas se hizo lo posible para poder ir a pasar unos días con ella y aquí están...
As you may know, I live in Venezuela, and given the circumstances and political and socioeconomic problems that my country has gone through, many people have decided to emigrate to other countries, among them, my grandmother.
It was more than 7 years ago, and when she decided to leave, it hurt me a lot because I have always been very attached to her, she is a spectacular person, kind, loving, understanding.
In short, a beautiful woman inside and out. And although I didn't say it much, I missed her too much and I really felt that it would be a long time before I would be able to see her.
But no! She had to go back with her husband to run some errands and get some papers and even though we were in different cities we did everything possible to spend a few days with her and here they are....
Por fin nos encontramos, ella estaba igual a como siempre la he visto, solo que aunque estuviera mucho más grande que ella, me seguía tratando como si tuviera 8 años jajaja.
Finally we met, she was the same as I have always seen her, only that even though I was much older than her, she still treated me as if I was 8 years old hahaha.
Aquí fuimos a la iglesia, ella lleva años siendo cristiana y gracias a Dios también lo soy. Y cuando volvió aprovecho para asistir a la iglesia que siempre iba y yo decidí acompañarla.
Here we went to church, she has been a Christian for years and thank God I am one too. And when she came back she took the opportunity to attend the church she always went to and I decided to go with her.
No pudimos salir mucho porque como dije al inicio, ella debió hacer unas diligencias y salía era a eso, pero pasamos el tiempo en casa hablando y durmiendo jajaja, lo que me importaba y hacia feliz era estar con mi abuela.
We couldn't go out much because as I said at the beginning, she had to run some errands and that's what she went out for, but we spent the time at home talking and sleeping hahaha, what mattered to me and made me happy was to be with my grandmother.
Y bueno, la despedida... No me gusta mucho hablar de esto o hacerlo, prefiero mantener el recuerdo atesorado y la esperanza de que pronto nos volveremos a ver. Fueron unos días increíbles en los que pude guardar y crear más recuerdos con mi abuela, los cuales espero luego se puedan hacer más.
Ella tuvo que irse de nuevo del país, actualmente está en Lima-Perú. Y lo que puedo decir de todo esto es que disfrutemos, amemos, comprendamos y demostremos lo importante que son nuestros familiares para nosotros, aprovechemos cuando los tenemos cerca, ya que no sabemos cuándo tengamos que verlos por medio de una pantalla.
And well, the farewell... I don't really like to talk about it or do it, I prefer to keep the treasured memory and the hope that soon we will see each other again. It was an incredible few days in which I was able to keep and create more memories with my grandmother, which I hope more can be made later.
She had to leave the country again, she is currently in Lima-Peru. And what I can say about all this is that let's enjoy, love, understand and show how important our relatives are for us, let's take advantage of them when we have them close, because we don't know when we will have to see them through a screen.
