Today we decided to make hallacas, a typical Venezuelan dish, but we had to climb the mountain to find the leaves we were going to use, so I decided to film the trip and the process.

As always, my dogs were excited to show us around the whole way; they love climbing with us and always enjoy exploring.

When I arrived, I was looking at some plants whose growth I planned to observe. Remember the cucumber plants I showed you a while back?

Look how big they've gotten now!

I also noticed that our pumpkin plant had some small pumpkins.

I even took a picture of the scenery, just to keep up the habit. The peace that place transmits in the morning is on another level.

And of course, my dogs were waiting for us to go down together.

We spent about an hour and a half doing this work of finding the leaves and passing them over the flame to soften them. I saw some lemons and picked them. I hope you enjoyed our walk today. My day was quite busy, which is why I'm sharing it with you now. Greetings, I'll read your comments.

El día de hoy decidimos hacer unas hallacas, un plato típico de Venezuela, pero teníamos que subir a la montaña a buscar las hojas que íbamos a utilizar, así que decidí grabarles el recorrido y como fue ese proceso

como siempre mis perros emocionados dándoles el recorrido por todo el camino, les encanta subir con nosotros, les gusta explorar siempre el lugar.

Al llegar estuve mirando unas plantas que tenía previsto ver si proceso, recuerdan las plantas de pepino que les mostré hace un tiempo atrás

Miren ahora como va de grande

También mire que nuestra planta de auyama tenía unas pequeñas auyamas

Inclusive le tome foto al paisaje para no perder la costumbre, la paz que transmite ese lugar en la mañana es otro Nivel

Y por supuesto mis perros esperandonos para bajar juntos

Estuvimos como hora y media haciendo este trabajo de buscar las hojas y pasarla por la candela para suavizarlas, ví unos limones y los tome, espero que les gustará nuestro paseo de hoy, estuvo bastante movido mi día, por eso se lo comparto a esta hora, saludos los leo en los comentarios.

Your pets are so cute and happy! And why are they burning the leaves? I like hallacas without seasoning; they're delicious simply with their meat and chicken.

We burn them to soften them so we can use them in the preparation of hallacas; some people boil them.
