1. Lack Of Experience And Portfolio
It is obvious that you don't have strong portfolio, and don't have much experience, due to this you face failures. When anyone tell them that increase your experience and portfolio, most of people complain that we have created many accounts like Upwork, Fiverr and many other platforms but we didn't get orders. The solution for this problem is, first you need to learn skill then use that particular skill in your real life, don't go directly on marketplace. Like, you can join a company, or do internships on different company. At your first level, don't worried about your income because nobody get butter at first. Now a days, there are lots of software houses in which you can gain practical experience, if someone hire you on free, then no issues you must join and take some experience and grip on your skill. So stop making excuses and do practical work.

2. Poor Marketing And Self Promotion
Some people may consider it a fatigue and useless thing and says that why we should do branding. In this Era of social media, if you are ignoring the branding and marketing then one day your freelancing career will be crashed. The reason behind that is you are totally dependent on a platform like Upwork or Fiverr, nobody knows if your account block then you will be on zero. But if you know marketing, you have already did self branding on social media platform then your business will be grow, you will be safer in all terms. So promote your work or skill as more as you can. To stay strong in freelancing, the self branding and marketing is very important, so don't ignore it.

3. Inconsistent Income And Budget Issues
This is the biggest reason due to this freelancers fail. I have seen many freelancers, who quit freelancing and going back to job again. This is because they don't know how to do proper budgeting. You must remember, in freelancing there is inconsistent income, sometime you earn $10, sometime $20, $5. You don't have any growth sequence, when you get a big order then you will earn more, when you get a small order then you will earn less. Specifically, if you are beginner, I have write this post for beginners, your income will fluctuate and inconsistent. Many freelancers do this that at starting when they start getting big orders, they spend their whole income in useless things and when they don't get a fine orders then they indulge in crises because of poor budgeting. So budgeting is very important to survive in any field, especially in freelancing.

4. Bad Pricing Strategies
If you are working as a freelancer in market and you are charging less price as compared to another freelancers, and thinking that low pricing can get your more orders then you also in loss. If you are charging so high prices like let's say if a service charges in market is $50 and you are charging $200 then also your are in loss. In low pricing, buyer will think that his work is not so much professional and he may annoy me. If you are charging so much high pieces then buyer will say that I have much better options in less prices. That's why selecting right pricing strategies is more important otherwise, you will suffer and you don't get orders.

5. Lack Of Professionalism
Last but not least, I'll say that this is extremely important issue. What is communication skills, business development and commitment. All these factors should be well known by all freelancers. Mostly new freelancers did this mistake that when they get their first client's order they get so much excited and didn't care or all these three factors. They did many commitments and unable to fulfill that commitments like, if a order must need 1 week then you can't tell the client that you will do this in 2 days. So your first client gave you bad review and you failed from your first level. That's why work on communication skills, to stay committed with your work and client is very important, work as a freelancer. Think as a professionalism.
