Eye Opening

Buy Low Sell High

Yesterday somebody got 0.5 Ether for one Hive. Today it is trading at 0.000225 Ether for one Hive. There is not heavy trade @ionomy but some of the trade can be eye opening like this one. I admit it was only 0.29115654 Hive but still they walked away with 0.14557827 Ether which is worth more than 400 USD.

That was click bait

I have something more eye opening I want to talk about.
My real question is:

Why are there no comments on the pob-wotw post I entered yesterday?

Seriously I can't just pass this by. This is the first time I got tumble weeds since I entered the contest some months ago.

Every time I entered a post in POB I would always find some comments. This is the first time I have been ghosted here. That one comment was a comment I made myself linking the post to twitter.

You can find the entry I made to to the #pob-wotw contest here.

Any guesses why there was no comment on that post ?

I really don't know. I understand that those who read it probably liked the Koalas who traveled from Australia to Costa Rica in search of the lost Zancundo tribe. So maybe you were all too busy to say anything or the story was not very engaging. Still I have posted worse stories in the past and got tons of interaction. It seems to be an anomaly. But I'm curious what is happening.

I think it has something to do with my interactions this week. I has been a very busy week at school and my wife and two of my fellow teachers fell ill. I had some additional classes added and some extra work at school and at home. I couldn't keep up with commenting on other people's blogs. At the same time the price of Hive did spike for a day and I was busy at the market and maybe other people were too.

I know that I posted the story at least 24 hours before the contest was finished but it was pretty late for a two week contest^^ Maybe it was the time of day. I posted in the morning. Maybe my friends got tired of waiting for me. I'm really not sure what happened by this is the first time I saw a post go 24 hours on my blog with no comment.

It may have something to do with people just too busy to look at posts this weekend. Or it may just be that my title and cover picture was not enough click bait for anyone to read the story. Or maybe my story was unrelatable.

The next contest

The reason I'm bringing this up is that the next pob-wotw contest will take into account participation and engagement so I don't want this to happen again.

For any community engagement is essential. If posts are not engaging we need to take a second and think about why and how we can make our posts more engaging. Just continuing to post without reflection cannot be an option. So I used this greedy clickbait to get an opinion from you.

What do you think happened that made that post
different from the many #pob-wotw posts I made in the past that 24 hours pasts and still not even one comment?

Yeah… you can sometimes pick up lots of Ethereum and Bitcoin for almost free on Ionomy.

It’s a Good idea to keep an eye on the prices. https://exchange.ionomy.com/en/aff/f7862c1aeae8e0399176a908fcecbcfe

Many times people forget a decimal places .10 Bitcoin is $ 5,500 but .01 Bitcoin is only $550 and .001 is only $55 … it’s easy to make a mistake when typing too quickly late at night.

Lots of mistakes between .001 .0001 and .00001

I once picked up several thousands of Dogecoin this way…

No idea about the comments. I am very happy when I get 1 comment on any of my posts on POB or Hive… even if they are mine with a Link to Twitter.

I am my #1 Fan.

This made me laugh. Engagement is nice and the genuine type is even more appreciated. Seems to be hit or miss from my experiences and everyone's time is at a premium these days

It's very strange. Sometimes I'll post something I figure will not be interesting and it blows up. Other times I put in a ton of effort and it goes nowhere.

Keep doing what you're doing. You have a unique voice and I'm not the only person that sees this.

Ha ha, Didn't You Asked did you get the moral of the story in the end?
Well honestly I didn't get that clearly but I really enjoyed it, I was just waiting for other to take the call 😊😅. And I think other too might have same concerns like me. That was definitely one of your best creations, you totally outdone yourself. I fear if you keep going like this, you might get 'The Booker Prize'. But how can we expect some ordinary from you dear, you are The Man who knew Infinity 😊🙏

Ha.... too challenging a question at the end is not so good. Interaction should be easy. I will keep that in mind the next time I make an entry.

I guess a lot of people have been busy like you said. I stumbled on the post yesterday night and while I was about to get myself to read it, I slept off. Like you said, guess it came a little late others who were waiting to read your article.

You're doing a good job my friend. Keep it up.

How's the health of your wife and co workers?
Hope they're doing fine now
