The house has been built for more than 200 years, mainly using wood materials to build a house. So until now, the house is still very solid. On the ceiling is roofed, the house is cool and comfortable when the hot weather of Vietnam. Visitors can also see on the walls showing signs of cracking and cracking over time. Therefore, people can see many old features of the house. The objects in the house such as beds, chairs, tables, ... are made of wood and are very old. There are some objects that are put in glass cabinets for visitors to admire. If visitors have come here, they will notice the ancient features of the house.

The house is designed by three architectural styles including Japan, China and Vietnam. This place is the convergence of cultural beauty of other countries. Because in the past, Hoi An ancient town was a place of trade and purchase of countries around the world when coming to Vietnam. Therefore, the architecture of this place will bring the trend of combining the culture of many countries. Visitors can see paintings or writing as a combination of culture of countries. Currently, Phung Hung ancient house is still visited by the descendants of the homeowner and for tourists around the world.

Wow a 200 year old house, it can tell many historical stories. Do we have to buy ticket to visit the house or is it free access?

Yeah, you have to buy tickets for about 3$ for 1 ticket to go to 3 different ancient houses in Hoi An.
