My Daily Habits by @trucklife-family

I don´t have a routine for my days, I tend to let things flow. Certain things need to be done, but they tend to happen when they happen. It all depends, on how I feel when I wake up.
Our minds are so powerful, we can tell them whatever we want and it will filter out to the rest of our bodies. Our thoughts create our reality, so I am always mindful of what I tell myself or what I allow to creep into my head.
The first thing I do after rising from my bed is to go outside and stand with my bare feet on the earth. I take a deep breath, as I slowly stretch my body and embrace the day. This is a daily habit I have that always sets me up for the day.

For Freedom by @nickydee

We use so many practices to empty and still our minds in this busy world. And this is very necessary for sure. To give the mind a chance to rest. Especially when we're bombarded with so much information daily now.
Mindfulness isn’t about emptying your mind to find peace, in my thinking now.
It’s about allowing the mind to be “full of all of it”.
It’s about not trying to control the thoughts and the mind. It’s about observing the thoughts and the mind. It’s by doing this, that the mind becomes still by the way. That’s where the stillness comes from.

Youtube Gardener! by @simplifylife

I don't buy a lot of tools or chemical fertilizers. Organic gardening is the new sexy in town! So I have been making most fertilizers out of kitchen waste, used tea leaves, ground eggshells, and shit! The only stuff I bought was a small bottle of Neem oil and some Epsom salt.
I try to work mostly with stuff lying around in the house.

The Things I Declutter Before 2023 by @macchiata

My biggest clutter this year would be subscriptions. There are a few online subscriptions that I have to let go of. Additionally, some apps that I no longer use have to be uninstalled. These days, there's an app for everything but there are only a few that I use all the time or often. So, that's a part of my digital clutter that I am doing before the year ends. Another big thing this year is that since I took up photography, I have so many images that I have not sorted out. I am currently trying to remove them and only keep a few that are memorable to me.

A Gratitude a day keeps the Blues at bayby @grindan

My most important minimalist practice is gratitude.
It's free. There is no decision on what piece of furniture you must move to keep it in your life. It increases the value of everything you already own. How easy it is then, not to feel you need more!
Minimalism is a nudge away from consumerism, a commentary on a part of modern life that may not be so good for us.

Free Your Mind Friday by @nickydee

I think, though, that an authentic and original creative process is very much like giving birth.
Birth only happens with a reasonable amount of pain and it's exactly this that makes it so much of everything all at once. Isn't it?
It's not clean and safe.
It's not stable and practical.
Birth is violent and messy and miraculous and wonderful and terrifying and beautiful and everything at once.
It's f*ckin' intense.

My beneficial daily habits as a minimalist by @didiee

Speak to my day is a habit I formed which is somehow equivalent to prayer. I simply just make positive self-talk to myself and my day. All I want my day to be about is what I don't wish for, what I wish for, I tell myself amazing things about me. This helps me begin my day with some positivity. There are cases where after doing this, my day begins with some rude remarks from someone else. Surprisingly I always act unperturbed. This is because I'm walking with the consciousness that I have already spoken positivity into my day and my life as a whole so someone else's opinion of me is invalid.

Tidying as I go by @teknon

If a place were to be cluttered, I could get even annoyed for no reason that's why I tend to clean up after myself before leaving anywhere because returning home to a mess isn't my thing and it's mentally draining so to avoid that, I keep things in place before walking out my small door and when I return after a long day, I look around and when I see my small space looking tidy, I feel satisfied and take a deep breath before sinking into bed that's if I feel exhausted (school in Nigeria can drain the hell outta someone 🤧).

The Relief Basket That Brought Sanity by @wolfofnostreet

Since I didn't want to get a table because of space, I needed something to throw everything in instead to at least get some order. So I set out to the market and got this rafia type basket pictured above. I was so excited about it and got two for 3000 Naira, I didn't even negotiate because I felt it was worth more than that and the seller was quite old.

Some tips

🔸 The community encourages authors to engage and build rapport with other team members by leaving meaningful comments.

🔸 If possible we recommend that authors try to use personal photos, however, if free images from the internet are used, please be sure to cite all relevant sources for photos and text.

🔸 Just a reminder that the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas is presented with ideas on topics to write about and to help you to structure your blogs, they are not meant to be questionnaires for you to list information and publish.

🔸 The presentation of your blog goes a far way and sharing aspects of your lives and your personal stories and experiences should be a lot more than a list that can be found in various places over the web.

🔸 There's no need for you to wait or only blog in response to the prompts provided. You're free to share any aspect of your minimalist lifestyle at any time.

Thank you for checking out the #MoreOrLessTheBest Curation Compilation presented by The Minimalist. This is the new official community account, where the weekly #KISS Blog Ideas and all community events and activities will be published from.
I invite you all to get involved and share your stories about minimalism, and perhaps you would like to invite someone.
