My last job





Hi everyone, welcome to my blog, I'm Miriam and this is the first time I post in this community, I didn't know it existed and its content encouraged me to post.


On this first occasion I want to share some of my latest works, there are many, some as gifts, others I did on request, but the vast majority is because I like the reason.


Hola a todos, bienvenidos a mi blog, yo soy Miriam y esta es la primera vez que publico en esta comunidad, desconocía que existía y su contenido me animó a publicar.


En esta primera ocasión les quiero compartir unos de mis últimos trabajos, son muchos, unos lo he regalado, otros lo hice por encargo, pero la gran mayoría es porque me gusta en motivo.





I got the design from a magazine that I bought at the newsstand, I liked it because it has an old-fashioned style, like from the 60s.


El diseño lo obtuve de una revista que compre en el quiosco, me gusto porque tiene un estilo de antaño como de los años 60.




I embroider it on a typical Aida fabric, I initially started drawing some reference lines to be able to distribute the images of the motif well,


Lo borde en una típica tela de Aida, comencé inicialmente trazando unas líneas de referencia para poder distribuir buen las imágenes del motivo,





For those who do not know, the trick for a good embroidery is that the crosses are all the same, which is the most important thing that the crosses all go in the same direction, that is to say that the bottom cross always goes in one direction and the cross from above in the other in this way a clean work can be seen even from behind.


Para lo que no lo saben el truco para un buen bordado es que las crucen estén todas iguales, que es lo más importante que las cruces vayan todas en el mismo sentido, es decir que la cruz de abajo siempre vaya en un sentido y la cruz de arriba en el otro de esta forma se aprecia un trabajo limpio incluso por detrás.





If we do it the other way around, in the other direction that cross will stand out a lot and give extra volume, being noticeable in a small part of the painting, but if you do it in several parts the painting will not look as uniform and it is not the result you want.


Si lo hacemos al revés, en el otro sentido esa cruz resaltará mucho y dará un volumen extra, notándose en un trocito del cuadro, pero si lo cometes en varias partes el cuadro no se verá tan uniforme y no es el resultado que quieres.





I continued with the other dolls alternating the colors, these colors are the typical American colors, like the ones used in the flag and in other symbols.


Seguí con las otras muñequitas alternado los colores, estos colores son los típicos colores estadunidense, como los usados en la bandera y en otros símbolos.








Continue with the last doll and I especially liked the ones that hold a rag doll, this gives a more detailed touch to the painting.


Continúe con la última muñequita y me gusto especialmente las que tiene sostenido una muñeca de trapo, esto le da un toque más detallista al cuadro.








This is the result in much closer photos, I hope you liked it as much as I did, and it is surely included in the works that I like the most to frame; Finally, like all my paintings, I border my signature.



Este es el resultado en fotos mucho más cercanas, espero que le haya gustado como a mí, y seguro va incluido en los trabajos que más me gusta para enmarcar; por ultimo como todos mis cuadros borde mi firma.

Thanks, you don't have to be very creative, you just have to find a reason you like and do it, yes, with a lot of patience.
