Amor propio - Consintiéndome un poco - manicure y pendicure [ESP/ENG]

¿Qué tal? Gente preciosa, de ésta hermosa Comunidad Lifestyle deseo que la esten pasando maravillosamente bien. Pagar unos cuántos dolaritos para consentirnos y vernos bien vale la pena, lo llamo un poco de amor propio consintiéndome, un cariñito a mi persona, que mes a mes me realizo y me hace sentir satisfecha conmigo misma. Así que como todos los meses salgo a realizarme manicure y pendicure donde una amiga que me trata con toda la delicadeza, sobre todo a mis pies.

Desde que llegué a Ecuador, me la presentó una yerna de mi esposo y desde ahi me engache con ella, ya son más de cinco años tratándonos. Ella es Magaly quién me viene realizando este trabajo. Para mi no es fácil éste tipo de ocupación, lo veo un poco tedioso, púes no a todos les gusta andar en los pies de otros, la verdad hay que tener pasión y ganas por este arte.

Me comunico con ella por WhatsApp, le pregunto si me puede atender y a qué hora, pues tiene otros clientes y no me gusta llegar cuando hay otras personas ahí. Por qué así podemos conversar un poco de todo y de nosotras, de nuestro vivir día a día, la verdad que le tengo confianza y aprecio, también la escucho, pues ella sale muy poco, y es como desahogarse de sus problemas, y ahí estoy yo para escucharla, pues nos consideramos amigas.

Paying a few bucks to pamper ourselves and look good is worth it, I call it a little self-love pampering, a little love to myself, that month after month I realize and makes me feel satisfied with myself. So, like every month I go out to have a manicure and pendicure at a friend who treats me with all the delicacy, especially my feet.

Since I arrived in Ecuador, I was introduced to her by a daughter-in-law of my husband and since then I have been treating myself with her for more than five years. She is Magaly who has been doing this work for me. For me this type of occupation is not easy, I see it a little tedious, because not everyone likes to walk on the feet of others, the truth is that you have to have passion and desire for this art.

I communicate with her by WhatsApp, I ask her if she can attend me and at what time, because she has other clients and I don't like to arrive when there are other people there. Why so we can talk a little about everything and about us, about our daily life, the truth is that I have confidence and appreciation, I also listen to her, because she goes out very little, and it is like venting her problems, and I am there to listen to her, because we consider ourselves friends.

Mientras me atiende, busco que figura o modelo me voy hacer en las uñas de los pies, ya que las manos siempre las pido sencilla por el uso cotidiano que me toca hacer cada día en el hogar. Y me las estropeó, tampoco me gusta esas uñas postizas, lo mío es lo básico limpiar, limar, pintar y listo, eso me hace feliz.

Con tener mis uñas presentable, eso me llena, púes es incómodo andar con las uñas desarreglada para mi. Pues no da ganas de salir, menos tener que saludar a otras personas, considero que habrá quienes miran, pero no te dicen nada por pena o verguenza. Por eso procuro ir a arreglarme porque se siente bonito que otra persona te ande en los pies, aunque me da cosquillas, pero me la aguanto un poco, como dirían por ahí, para ser bella hay que ver estrellas.

Después de limar, darle unos masajes con su crema hidratante mis pies están listos para que ella se luzca realizando lo que le pedí. También me arreglo un poco mis cejas imperfectas, ¡sí! no todo lo que brilla es oro, tengo mis imperfecciones y defectos, que con unos arreglitos se mejoran para que luzcan bien.

While she attends me, I look for a figure or model to do on my toenails, since I always ask for simple hands because of the daily use that I have to do at home. I don't like those false nails either, my thing is the basics, clean, file, paint and that's it, that makes me happy.

Having my nails presentable, that makes me happy, because it is uncomfortable for me to walk around with messy nails. Well, I don't feel like going out, let alone having to greet other people, I think that some people look at you, but they don't say anything because they are embarrassed or ashamed. That's why I try to get dressed up because it feels nice to have someone else walking on your feet, although it tickles me, but I put up with it a little, as they say, to be beautiful you have to see stars.

After filing and massaging her feet with her moisturizing cream, my feet are ready for her to show off by doing what I asked her to do. I also fix my imperfect eyebrows, yes! not everything that shines is gold, I have my imperfections and defects, that with a few little fixes are improved to make them look good.

Cuando era más joven yo misma optaba por hacerme mis propios arreglos, pero a medida que la edad avanza, hay que buscar alguien que te lo realicen y pagar por sus servicios. Pues Magaly lidia con mis uñeros y mis pies están un poco manchados del sol por las sandalias y ella me tiene paciencia. Mi amiga de a poco fue teniendo al lado de su casa un lugar donde realizar esta labor y asi ayudarse económicamente, no es mucho, pero de grano en grano el buche de la gallina se llena como dicen por ahí.

La mayoría de las veces mi esposo me da para este tipo de arreglos y otras me lo he pagado con #hive me gusta poder yo misma pagarme mis gastos y de a poco ser un tanto independiente y darme mis gustos, eso me hace sentir realizada como mujer, también el poder colaborar con algo para la casa. Nada como tener y manejar su propio dinero, porqué cuando dependemos del bolsillo o la cartera de otro es frustrante y no me gusta que me digan , ahora no tengo, me da impotencia.

Como mujer pasamos momentos difíciles en la vida, no todo es color de rosa, pero unas más que otras, lidian con diferentes situaciones adversas en la vida y ciertamente a unas mujeres les tocó más fuerte que a otras. Seré de esas mujeres afortunada, bendecida con el esposo que me tocó. Nunca he trabajado para nadie, cuando he hecho algo, lo he hecho desde la comodidad de mi hogar.

When I was younger I used to do my own work, but as you get older, you have to find someone to do it for you and pay for their services. Magaly deals with my toenails and my feet are a little sun stained from my sandals and she is patient with me. My friend little by little was having a place next to her house where she could do this work and thus help herself economically, it is not much, but from grain to grain the chicken's crop is filled as I say.

Most of the time my husband gives me for this type of arrangements and others I have paid with #hive I like to be able to pay my expenses myself and little by little to be somewhat independent and give me my tastes, that makes me feel fulfilled as a woman, also to be able to collaborate with something for the house. There is nothing like having and managing your own money, because when we depend on someone else's pocket or wallet it is frustrating and I don't like to be told that now I don't have any, it makes me feel helpless.

As women we go through difficult moments in life, not everything is rosy, but some more than others, deal with different adverse situations in life and certainly some women have had it harder than others. I will be one of those lucky women, blessed with the husband that touched me. I have never worked for anyone, when I have done anything, I have done it from the comfort of my home.

Si me ha tocado pasar en ciertas ocasiones peripecias, si he pasado necesidades, pero creo también que ha sido falta de mi parte, en no concluir con mi estudios para hacerme una profesional y de esa manera haber contribuido con el hogar. También es verdad que como mujeres enfrentamos muchas luchas a diaro en la vida, en la familia y en la sociedad. En las diferentes áreas que nos desenvolvernos.

Lo importante es levantarse, seguir adelante, en la vida hay retos que vencer y alcanzar. Y para eso necesitamos vernos y sentirnos hermosas 💖 así que a cuidar de nosotras, no solo lo exterior, sino también lo interior, pues de ahí fluye todo.
