Una semana sin Agua Potable en la Ciudad [ESP/ENG]

¿Qué tal? Mi gente linda de Hive un gran saludo para todos quienes hacen vida en esta hermosa Comunidad. Te puede faltar cualquier cosa en la vida y puedes vivir sin eso, menos sin el aire y el líquido vital como es el agua ¿quién sobrevive? Imposible. Sobretodo una Ciudad entera.

Resulta que en la ciudad donde vivo, Portoviejo, se ha quedado sin éste apreciado líquido por una semana, imposible de resolver de inmediato la situación y para lograrlo esto conllevaría horas de trabajo sobre humano para lograrlo en tiempo récord. La situación no tomó a todos los ciudadanos por sorpresa, una impactante noticia. También afecta la parte política de la ciudad, ya que la Alcaldía, está en pleno proceso de cambio de posición gubernamental.

Muy difícil la situación actual que tiene que enfrentar como desafío el nuevo Alcalde de la Ciudad, un reto por delante muy complejo y tener a toda una gran población encima sin agua, buscar camiones tanqueros para surtir en los diferentes sectores, entes públicos, escuelas y dar soluciones de inmediato fue su premisa, para que la ciudad continúe en movimiento.

Resulta que en cada invierno que se pasa aquí en la Ciudad, se toma ciertas regulaciones de racionamiento con el agua potable, debido a que es más costoso y delicado el proceso del tratamiento del líquido vital ya que las aguas de los ríos se revuelven, por su crecimiento. Sin embargo este año las lluvias fueron muchas y más fuerte que años anteriores.

Al parecer se quemó el transformador principal y eso paralizó todo el servicio en las tuberias. Usted se imagina que toda una Ciudad acostumbrada abrir su grifos y conseguir el líquido y de pronto no poder encontrarlo no es fácil, ya que es tan vital para todo. Y con estos calores, ¡Hay Dios mio! No solo es ese el problema, es que el transformador tienen que mandarlo a buscar fuera del país.

Así que la mayoría de los ciudadanos nos quedamos totalmente desprevenidos, corriendo el peligro hasta de quedarnos sin agua para tomar de bidones (botellones) por la emergencia que hay en la Ciudad, esta demanda puede aumentar el costo, es un verdadero caos.

So most of us citizens are left totally unprepared, running the risk of running out of water to drink from jerry cans (bottles) because of the emergency in the city, this demand can increase the cost, it is a real chaos.

Hay una gran parte de ciudadanos que están prevenidos por los racionamiento, que para esto tienen cisternas de agua en su casas, es el caso del edificio en donde vivo y no tenemos por ahora ese problema de desabastecimiento, pero hay que cuidar cada gota. Lo mismo pasa en casa de @elizabeths14 también hay cisterna y ya va a medio tanque.

Ayer llovió fuerte en toda la Ciudad casi más de tres horas, que eso permitió que la gente sacara sus pipotes (tachos) tanques para agarrar el agua de la lluvias y darle uso en la lavandería, baños, para las plantas, lavar carro entre otros usos que no impliquen el consumo. Nosotras en casa de Eli, también hicimos agarrar agua de la lluvia que caían por el canalon para lavar.

Los vecinos del frente de la casa nos llamaban para que fuésemos agarrar agua, pero ya estaban llenos los recipientes con agua limpia. Pero igual bajamos a buscar. En esta situación entre vecinos hay que darse la mano y apoyarse, lo bueno de ser amables con los que nos rodean.

The neighbors in front of the house called us to fetch water, but the containers were already full with clean water. But we still went down to fetch water. In this situation between neighbors you have to shake hands and support each other, the good thing about being kind to those around you.

Una situación bastante incómoda, ya que el agua es muy necesaria. Cocinar y estar sin agua es un verdadero caos, la yerna de mi esposo optó por comprar platos desechables por una idea que le dí y así ahorrar la mayor cantidad de agua posible. Hay lugares donde no llegan los camiones que surten el agua, así que la lluvia de ayer pudo ser de provecho hasta cierto punto.

Hoy nos llegó una noticia de que posiblemente a partir de mañana comience a llegar en los sectores que están en zonas bajas, ojalá y ya suba pronto a los edificios y a las personas que viven en las lomas o cerros.

Bueno querido lector, si usted tiene agua cuide de ella, dele el uso adecuado y no la mal gaste por favor. Hay veces que tiene que pasar estas cosas para darnos cuenta de lo valioso que es el agua mas que cualquier otra cosa. Pues este líquido preciado a otro puede hacerle falta y hay que cuidar los recursos que nos brinda la naturaleza, hasta una próxima oportunidad.
