Endless Ape by Earth Splinter in Splinterlands: A Unique Analysis

avatar

One of my favourite cards in the game, Earth Splinte,r is Endless Ape. Those who play this game regularly know how difficult it is to win a match if you can't choose the right card at the right time. Especially when you have a lot of mana in your hand and need a strong tank card, this Endless Ape is my first choice. Today's discussion is about why this card is so important in the game's strategy and why I like it so much.

First, let's talk about its mana cost. It is an 8 mana card. At first, it may seem like it is right to take this card for 8 mana? But believe me, once the game starts and it starts to show its true form, its mana cost seems to be perfect. If you look at its basic stats, at level 1, it has 10 health and 1 armour. But its real magic lies in its 'Scavenger' ability. Due to this ability, whenever a card dies on the battlefield, be it your card or your opponent's, Endless Ape's health increases by 1 point.

The longer the match, the more dangerous this card becomes. I have seen in many matches, when all my other cards are almost gone at the end of the game, this Endless Ape is fighting alone with about 15-20 health. This ability to survive is what sets it apart from many other cards. When we play with Earth Splinter, our main goal is to strengthen the defence. This card does that defence job very well. Especially when a healer like Goblin Psychic is behind it, it becomes almost impossible for the opponent to defeat it.

Another interesting thing is its 'Deflect' ability, which is available at high levels. In the current meta of the game, we often lose matches due to passive damage. For example, Magic Reflect or Thorns. But Endless Ape's deflect ability protects it from these. Also, when there is an equaliser or such a special ruleset, this card becomes a blessing for the entire team. Due to its high health, the cards of the entire team have a much longer chance of surviving.

Personally, I like the Endless Ape card for its reliability. Many times, despite having expensive legendary cards, matches are lost due to a lack of the right combination. But Endless Ape is a card that is very common, but its output is very high. Its artwork or design is also quite cool, a powerful gorilla that is ready for battle in armour. When it enters the field, you get a different confidence.

To win a match, it is not only about attacking, but how long you can prevent the opponent's attack is also a big deal. Endless Ape does exactly this. It stands in the front row and acts as a wall, and my other cards can deal damage from behind.

For those who play more with Earth units in the Splinterlands game, this Endless Ape is a must-have in their card deck. Because of its performance, with low investment or as a low rarity card, it often surpasses top-tier cards. All in all, Endless Ape is not just a card for me; it is a great tool for winning.
