Who knows the German tradition with the Advent calendar?
This is the Advent calendar of my stepfather. As you can easily see, he is a big FC Bayern fan. (German soccer club)
Actually, the Advent calendar is supposed to shorten the children's waiting time until Christmas. From the 1st of December to the 24th of December the child opens a door every day. Inside is a small piece of chocolate or a Christmas picture.
Obviously this tradition is not only very popular by children. Adults also find it great.😉

I think he deserves this little treat, since he has already put up the Christmas tree on the terrace.
