Manifestations Week

Hello my community,

It's been a long road week.

I began in Bienne on June, 5. From the Central Square, followed by the station passing by the Convention Center and back to the starting point.

At each of these places, we stopped and people could intervene and speak on the microphone. Very nice.

That day, I shouted African lives matter so much that in the end of the day, I lost my voice :(

I was accompanied by a friend and her 8 months old baby girl in a stroller. The next generation is launched!

Then on June, 6 in my city Neuchatel.

Basically the appointment was given at the Maladière, in front of the shopping Center. Then, as my friend told me, a young girl came with a sign to warn everyone that the start of the event would take place at the Jeunes-Rives Place. Just 500m away ...

Just imagine ...

Arriving 20 minutes late, the demonstration had not yet started.

Normaly Swiss people are very on time since they created the watch ;)

The organizers set up a register and took the names of each demonstrator and issued them a mask. They did not expect many people and decided to do it in two groups. Considering the directives of the confederation which recommends gathering of 300 people maximum.

Sincerely, I was disappointed because it was very poorly organized. To address the crowd, they did not have a microphone but a mega phone, and almost nothing was heard. In addition, we were not even able to intervene. It is very unfortunate, I who had prepared a speech ..

What I enormously appreciated is that we stopped in the City center in front of the statue of David de Pury. What a symbol!

David De Pury was Baron and benefactor of the City of Neuchatel. He made it a multimillionaire in the 18th century. Venerated then forgotten and finally accused of having participated in the slave trade of the African people, he died in May 1786.

On Saturday June, 13 the manifestation was in the Capital, Bern. In the Federal Place, the Bundesplatz.

To its left is the BNS (Swiss National Bank). The Bundesplatz is 2,200 m2 in area, tell yourself it was crowded. There were around 6,600 people in the square, plus the surrounding streets where there were also a lot of people. Either we had to be between 6 and 7,000 people.

Despite the rain, people stayed until the end, it was very cool.

It made me feel so good to manifest and I will do it more in the future.

As you can see, I have made a little video to show you these 3 days, I hope you will like it.

All pictures have been taken with my Wiko and my friends Iphone with Hipstamatic app.
