Office Champions: Unleashing Green Team’s Talents at Sportsfest 2025⛹️♀️
Who says sportfests are only for schools? It’s time for the workplace to play too!
Last November, our Sportfest 2025 officially started at work. It was a nice change from our typical routine. The Engineering and HR departments put the event together, and you could tell that they put a lot of thought into it. It wasn't only about winning, it was also about having fun and creating happy memories.

We could pick which team we wanted to be on, and there were four teams: Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green. I joined the Green Team, which had about 25 people. We aare from different departments, yet from the outset, there was already a sense of excitement and teamwork.
Ofcourse a lot of games are planned for the sportfest, such as ping pong, badminton, billiards, and of course, one of the most exciting games—Mobile Legends and the office set up a major screen for each group on the first day so that everyone could see what the participants were doing in real time.

It was fun to watch since this game wasn't only about having quick reactions as it was also about strategy, teamwork, and planning. each team were shouting and talking about strategies, and you could sense the energy in the room as each team tried to show off their skills.

There were three other games planned for the first day, and the matchups were set up in a round-robin style. There were both singles and doubles divisions for each game, which made the tournament more fun. I signed up for the badminton doubles with Ricky as my partner. This was my first true physical fatigue of 2025.

I assumed the game would be easy and fun at first, but once we started playing, I discovered I was mistaken. I had to chase the shuttlecock nonstop by running, jumping, and chasing it. It was a tough game, and I was already fatigued after just one round. In the end, we played three rounds. We didn't win any of them, but we still had fun. We just said to ourselves, "We'll do better next time."

Master Jeff was our representative for ping pong. He played singles and is considered as one of the best players in that game. We were sure he would win because he had already won a few titles. He did not let us down, that's for sure. He won his match and gave the Green Team the win. It was fascinating to see him play since he was calm, focused, and incredibly steady.

We didn't get to play billiards on the first day. We watched and cheered for the Red Team and the Yellow Team while we waited for our turn.
In general, the first day of Sportfest 2025 was tiring but fun. It made me remember that work isn't simply about getting things done on time and doing what you're supposed to do. Sometimes, it's also about having fun together, laughing, and friendly competition. I'm already looking forward to the upcoming games, the Mobile Legends battles, and of course, a greater return for the Green Team.
Awesome, they had a great day, hehe. I don't like sports but I do like video games, hehe.
