Manifestation: Two little tricks to attract Money (when you're broke)

avatar

Hello my dear Hive friends!
I'm glad you're all still here to join me in the Manifestation series, and you could see it as a journey for all of us. I am sure practicing what I preach, most of the time that is. So I hope that you are all joining in and practicing the different subjects I've touched on in my previous Manifestation posts.
I have a lot more coming because somehow they just flow into my mind as I go, so I see this as an encouragement to keep going.

This time, I'd like to keep things simple.
As moving day is coming closer for me at the moment, I am practicing these myself because I am, what I'd call, "in between funds".
I don't have a set income at the moment, and even though I know it will be fine, it also makes me nervous sometimes. Especially with a high expense coming up, like moving house! One month rent and one month deposit isn't for the faint of heart.
I know I will be fine once July comes around the corner but right now I have to work a few miracles to find the money for the 20th of June.

So in this chapter of my manifestation series, I'd like to tell you about 2 little tricks I've learned that work like magic, when it comes to acquiring money from sources you wouldn't expect it from.

Let's get to it!

The Money in the Pocket Trick

OK, so we've probably all been there. Bills are paid, money is tight, and then some home appliance breaks down, or the car needs to go to the repair shop.
You don't have the money right now to pay for it. Next month you'll be fine but you need that car fixed now! Not next month.

Now, the currency should be adjusted to the country you're in but for now I'll use the US Dollar. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to use crypto with this but never say never! It may just work with a written note, although I've never tried it.

So what you do is, you take a $20 Dollar note, and keep it in your pocket, or wallet.
Don't spend it. Of course, you can adjust this to more or less than 20 if you like, but in my experience, this is a good number to start.

Now, you go window shopping. This can be done while you're doing other things, like grocery shopping or whatever, it doesn't have to be a thing you actually go out for.
While you're window shopping, notice all the things you could buy with that 20 dollar bill, and say to yourself: I can buy this, or that, and I can buy this with it.
Don't say it out loud because, well, you don't need to be looked at funny...
Say it in your mind. And feel how you'd feel if you were to buy those things.
Do this every time you feel the need for it.

It may sound crazy but for me it has worked Every - Single -Time!

I'd get some unexpected money from a source I didn't know I had, or an offer to do a short job for someone, or someone would pay me back money I'd forgotten about.
It doesn't matter where the money comes from, all that matters is that it works.

Once you see this happening, you could turn it up a notch with 40 dollar, or more.
And you'll see that it will keep coming in larger amounts.

Try it! You have nothing to lose by trying, right?

And let me know about your experiences!

The 10% Charity Rule

This one may sound simple but it's really not.
It takes a bit of counting and calculating but it works wonders.

It only takes one thing: Be generous!

OK, here we go:
Give 10% of your income away...
OK, some people might think: OH, HELL NO!
And I understand. I was very sceptical about this one but it works.
I've also been in situations where 10% of my income was quite a bit of money, and I really needed all of it.

Now that I've moved to Mexico, it's much easier to do because there are just so many ways to hand 10% of your money over to others.

Just, if you decide to try it, make sure you give from the heart. Don't just sprinkle money around without any emotion. Don't give to charity if you don't believe in that charity. It won't work.

What I do is, for example, when we need to get a taxi home from town, and the taxi driver didn't try to extort us (there are many good ones, most are honest), I will tip him to just below the point of what others would sometimes try to charge.
So, in our case, a taxi from town back home shouldn't be more than 50 pesos during the day, on a weekday. The extortion taxis will try to charge us 120 or even 150 pesos.
So when the driver is an honest one, I'll give him 90, or 100 even sometimes.
For me it's nothing. For him it might make the difference between sleeping an hour during his break, or working 12 hours a day...
I give purely from the heart, because I want to help, even if it's just little bits.

I do the same with street vendors. Sometimes there are young women, often with babies on their backs, selling bracelets etc. I will always try to buy from them when I see them, at least once a month. And when I do, I give them what they ask, without trying to haggle. Or more.
Sometimes I'll even let them keep the items, and just give them the money.
I hear different opinions about this from people I know, some saying that 'you can't give money to everyone, and they're making a good living...'
This may be true. But I try to help wherever I can. And maybe they are making a good living...Although I couldn't imagine that someone would roam the streets all day, at 30 degrees Celsius, to try to make a living if their income is so amazing.
I try not to judge people. And these people are working hard, so I believe they should be respected and rewarded.

As you can see, for me it's quite easy to give away 10% of my income.
Yeah, if your income is 2k USD, it's easy to work out. Of course, once your income goes to 5 or even 6 figures, it'll be a bit harder but that's for everyone to decide how they do this.

All I can say is: It works!

We've come to the end of this part of my manifestation series. I thought in these uncertain crypto times, these little tricks are good to know, so you can use them whenever there's the need for it.

It's nice to see those who help like this in the world.
For me the fear that I might have been the only one that comes around and they depend on this to live makes me just give people in those situations, just like the ones you talk about above. But am also smart as I do this in places I know have a good reputation.
It's taken some time for others to know that some of the people that beg are richer than them. imagine renting a guest house and then you found out that the owner of the guest house got this building through begging. what's more, you gave him money that morning and got to see him in the evening as the owner lol

😂

I guess am judgy now, thanks for sharing

Hehe, yeah that'd be quite something.
I've seen this guy in Spain once, that was selling towels on the beach.
He had this sad story about having to feed the family etc.
So we bought towels. Everyone did.
A few days later, I see this guy get out of a limo with two blondes...LOL.
But that's OK. They will get their karma. I gave the money without prejudice,
and if people take advantage of that, they'll find out sooner or later I think.

Thank you for your input!

It is great that you are a generous soul - helping others when you can.
I have tried to keep funds in my wallet that I did not use. However I did not go shopiing thereafter. I never rally followed through, so I cannot say whether I manifested. I guess the emotion, expectation or belief was not there only the initial intention. I will try it again and let you know.

I think the money in the pocket trick doesn't work so well if you are married. I can't tell you the number of times I tuck some money away in my wallet like you said and sure enough my wife comes to me and says "baby, do we have X amount of dollars" and I kid you not it is always within like two dollars of what I have tucked away in my wallet. If I was the un-trusting sort I would guess she goes through my wallet, but really I think it is just some crazy ESP voodoo.

This post made me click to your other posts and the one you wrote 8 days ago, I totally missed! But that really was the one I needed to read!

I really like your system. I think there is something to it too. I keep trying to give things away and more comes back!

If it's good things coming back, there's not a problem haha.
But yes, it absolutely works wonders. Plus not expecting it is the key, really.
I give from the heart, not because I think: Oh shit, I have to give someone 500 pesos
to get to my quota :D At the moment, I don't even keep track because I know I give more than 10% but once more money starts to come in, I'll have to keep records LOL.

Those are good things to keep in mind! I also think astrology plays a part in it, but don't know enough about it. Some days I notice there are trends of things happening all at once, good or bad and it's good to try and ride the wave, if that makes any sense at all! lol

Does the Money in the Pocket Trick work with a pre-paid gift card or a silver coin as well as a large-value paper bill like USD/EUR 20?

As for crypto, I don't know how it would work, either. However, maybe this could work:

  • Buy X amount of the crypto, print the purchase (wallet address with X amount), and carry that with you. X would the the crypto-equivalent of the local currency which should be in the pocket.

In some way the trick should work with crypto, only we need to figure out the right way to make the trick work.

Yes, I think it would work with all of the things you've mentioned, including crypto in the way you said.
I think the power is in that you have something tangible in your pocket/purse etc. and then that you (in your head) look at things and say: I can buy this, and that, and this.
The emphasis would be on 'I can' and not 'I could' because you have to have the certainty that you can buy it with the money that you have. Try it for a week or two and see how you do.
I am implementing it in my routine again now. In the past it's worked really well for me.
At first I started with a small amount, like 10 euro. Then once things were looking up I did it with larger amounts. All I can say is that it works, so I don't question it haha.

Is there a minimum number of times I need to go window shopping to say "I can buy that item"; or do I need to say it all the time? Maybe not an exact minimum, but a good rule of thumb for using this trick as a beginner?

(Edited)

Personally, I've made it into a habit. So I do this whenever I'm near shops, and it's become almost second nature. I'm also doing this with many other techniques.
But when I started out, I'd just do it a few times whenever I was in town.
Maybe 2-3 times spread out over the week.
When I saw results, I'd up my game a bit, and go from 10 euro to 20, and so on.
I think you can start with as little time as you want, as long as the intention and wording is clear. What helps immensely, is that you feel the emotion when saying 'I can buy this' in your mind. So for instance, if you see something that costs x dollar/euro and you like it, it'd be something you'd buy or wanted to have, then feel the excitement, joy and emotions you'd have if you were to take it home and display it in your house.
The emotion that comes with the words is just as important as the words themselves.
Maybe more.

I almost forgot:
Now, just imagine you're in your town, and there are a few shops.
You see a few things you love, and that fit the price of whatever the amount is in your pocket. The trick is, to add these up.
So you see 6 things that cost around the same (within the amount you carry).
So if it's 20 USD/Euro, and these items cost 18, 19, 20 dollars or something.
You'd mention them ALL in your mind. I can buy this, and I can buy that.
The universe now multiplies this without limitation.
So instead of saying: "I only have enough to buy one thing."
You're now basically saying you can buy each item. That way, your money will grow because the universe sees this as a message that you have enough money to buy all these items, with a value of 80 or 100 or more total..

I hope you get what I mean here?

(Emphasis added)

This is a key detail there. It puts us in the abundance mindset (as opposed to the default scarcity mindset we were taught to have). It also shows the payoff when the trick is used properly.

I tried this today before seeing your reply. All I bought today was food, so I'm not sure if that's what I had in mind for income. However, I made sure to use the word can rather than could.

The thoughts felt genuine, but they also seemed fleeting. I'll need to go to an area with lots of shops and be more deliberate in my thinking, my intentions, and my manifesting next time I head out. I may also need to vocalize my thoughts, even if its just under my breath as I view the items.

I'm so excited you've been trying this!
I think that it doesn't matter that the thoughts were somewhat fleeting. In fact, that's actually what you're supposed to do: think it, feel the emotion, and then let it go. Let the universe take care of it.

And great idea if you'd go to an area with a lot of shops. I'm not sure where you're located and if this possible at all. I mean, it'd be easier in a city than in a rural village but I think it's doable pretty much about anywhere. I don't receive any promotional material here where we live but when we were in Ireland, we'd get promotional flyers and brochures from several shops all the time.
I sometimes just would flip through those and look at all their items for sale, and then repeat the same things in my mind as I would if I were in a physical shop. It's a passive form of window shopping but works nevertheless.

Keep me updated! I love that you're giving these practices a try.
Thank you for sharing!
