Héroes Polinizadores. Las abejas trabajadoras de mi comunidad. [ESP-ENG]
De seguro cuando escuchamos o leemos sobre las abejas, inmediatamente las relacionamos con la miel o nos imaginamos las horribles picaduras que pueden hacernos. Incluso puede hasta que le tengamos temor. Pero hoy vamos a aprender cosas positivas de las abejas.
En esta oportunidad centre mi publicación en las abejas. Ya que, hace unas pocas mañanas iba caminando por mi comunidad, mirando las zonas verdes adornadas de lindas flores amarillas y cuando centre bien la mirada me fije que una cantidad de abejas iban de flor en flor, me sorprendió mucho porque era una mañana soleada y verlas trabajar desde temprano sin duda alguna me animo.

Surely when we hear or read about bees, we immediately associate them with honey or imagine the horrible stings they can give us. We may even be afraid of them. But today we are going to learn positive things about bees.
This time I focus my publication on bees. Since, a few mornings ago I was walking through my community, looking at the green areas adorned with beautiful yellow flowers and when I focused my gaze well I noticed that a number of bees were going from flower to flower, I was very surprised because it was a sunny morning and seeing them working early certainly encouraged me.
Me puse a meditar en el motivo por el que estaban allí, y comprendí por que se mantenían tan lindos los terrenos y zonas verdes. ¡Las abejas estaban haciendo juiciosamente su trabajo!
Estas pequeñas amigas aparte de producir miel, cumplen un papel importantísimo en la polinización de las plantas, junto con otros insectos polinizadores ayudan a que se reproduzcan las flores de los campos; y no solo eso, también ayudan a los cultivos de los alimentos que consumimos.
I pondered why they were there, and I understood why the grounds and green areas were kept so beautiful. The bees were judiciously doing their job!
These little friends, apart from producing honey, play a very important role in the pollination of plants, together with other pollinating insects, they help the flowers in the fields to reproduce; and not only that, they also help to grow the food we eat.
Algo que llama la atención es, ¿Cómo un insecto tan pequeño tiene una responsabilidad tan importante?, ¿podrá cumplirla? Y la respuesta es sí. La abeja para poder cumplir con su labor cuenta con la ayuda de todas sus compañeras, mientras una solo alcanza para unas pocas flores, el trabajo en conjunto de todas logra alcanzar extensos territorios.
Para las abejas el trabajo en equipo es importante, y eso es notorio cuando vemos dos abejas o más en la mis flor, y muy raro verlas peleando.
One thing that is striking is, how does such a small insect have such an important responsibility, can it fulfill it? And the answer is yes. In order to accomplish its work, the bee counts on the help of all its companions, while one is only enough for a few flowers, the joint work of all of them manages to reach extensive territories.
For bees, teamwork is important, and this is noticeable when we see two or more bees on the same flower, and it is very rare to see them fighting.
Tras meditar en el servicio gratuito que aportan las abejitas a mi comunidad pude extraer algunas lecciones importantes:
- Trabajar desde temprano y ser constantes.
Hacer las cosas con tiempo y no dejarlas para última hora nos ayuda a ser mejores trabajadores.
- Trabajo en equipo.
Aunque parezca que lo que hacemos es insignificante, nuestro aporte podría ser mucho si otros colaboran con nosotros y nosotros con ellos.
- Hacer cosas por los demás.
Siempre podemos ser voluntarios y prestar la ayuda a quien la necesite, sin esperar nada a cambio.
After meditating on the free service that the little bees bring to my community, I was able to draw some important lessons:
Work early and be consistent.
Doing things on time and not leaving them to the last minute helps us to be better workers.
Teamwork.
Although it may seem that what we do is insignificant, our contribution could be a lot if others collaborate with us and we with them.
Doing things for others.
We can always volunteer and give help to those who need it, without expecting anything in return.
Como puedes ver, las abejas no solo pican y hacen miel. También cumplen una labor muy importante en el mantenimiento de los ecosistemas. Asi que si vemos una abeja en nuestra casa no nos apresuremos en matarlas, dejémosla ir para que puedan seguir cumpliendo con su labor.
As you can see, bees don't just sting and make honey. They also play a very important role in the maintenance of ecosystems. So if we see a bee in our house, let's not rush to kill them, let them go so they can continue their work.
