Good day food lovers!!!!

Its been raining in our place for almost 3 weeks and one of the best thing we do during rainy seasons is eating haha.
I don't if I am the only one who feels hungry always while listening the raindrops from the roof lol!

Aside of lying on the bed with a phone in the hand, eating some food that suits for the weather is we usually do and sometimes we do a recipe experiment.

This time ,we had some banana a saging saba in our dialect and last time I cooked it in a simple way of cooking which boiled it until it cook and by this time I wanted to try some recipe recipe of it.

Ingredients needed

*Banana(ripe or not yet)
*Coconut milk
*Sugar and salt to taste

Procedure

First ,I prepared a coconut milk since we don't have a ready to use in a pack coconut milk ,I need to make it in my own manually.

I first removed the husk and grind the coconut meat .If you had a blenderbor or electric grinder it much better to use to make it easier to do.

Charran...heres the coconut meat.
After I grind it.

Make sure to washed your hands when squeezing it to produce a coconut milk.I add two cups of water and squeeze it for about 3minutes and used a strainer to make sure that it will be all a coconut milk.

Set aside the coconut milk and start peeling off the banana.

I slice the banana into two so that it will absorb the creamy sweet that blended with salt taste.

In a pot ,put all the ingredients ,I put 5spoons of sugar and a half spoon of salt but it depends on how much do you wanted to put.

Put in a medium fire and cooked for 15-20 minutes.

And here's my ginataang saging saba

YUM YUM YUMMMM
I miss this!
My ex was from the Cook Islands and whne we used to live together in the Daintree Rainforest in far North QLD that's exactly how we got all of our coconut products- the cream, the milk, the meat all straight from the coconut with exactly the same grinder as you used and he taught me all of this....but that was a long time ago and I miss it so much...
