A walk under the rain going to school but the classes was suspended
Good morning wednesday walkers!!!
How was everyone here?I hope you are all doing great today. Its been raining in our place and some parts of the country for almost 3weeks.
Sad to say that some places are experienced flooding and landslide now due to not stop of raining but we are still lucky coz our is'nt prone of flooding and landslide.
Anyway, today is the first day of school after the christmas vacation but the rain poured hardly so I waited for an advisory from the school where my son is studying.
But his teacher chatted on our group chat that there will be class today.
So I prepared my son's breakfast and took him a bath prepared all the things he needed.
I letting him to wear a rubber boots and raincoat.
This is really our stuggle everytime it rained .
I told my brother inlaw(my son's service to school)that I am the one who take and fetch my son at school since its raining.
We decided to wait for a tricycle going to school even if the school is too near ,I think a 2-3minutes of walk but since the rain poured hard for sure my son's shoes will get wet.
When we are at the school ,only a few students was there. Many was absents because of the rain.
We leave the house around 7:30am and came to the school at 8:am.And go home right after my son enter the classroom.
When I got home I prepared a breakfast for my baby and for my husband who came home from his night shiff duty.
Its 8:39am when I recieved a message via messenger from my son's teacher telling us parents to fetch our kids as the classes was suspended.
I hurriedly went to the school after read that message from the teacher and when I came at the school ,their teacher give them an activity while waiting for the parents to fetch them.Anyway only 5 students was there out of 30 grade one students.
We waited for some vehicles to pass for a ride but nothing was passed so we decided to walk going home.
Many students from other school on higher grades who going home after the suspension.I can't understand why they announced it late while the other school announced it earlier while the students did'nt yet came to school.
And that would be all my #wednesdaywalk ,thanks sir @tattoodjay for this challenge.
Just an update ,its still raining here hopefully it will stop and our path way will get dry coz were going to buy some materials needed for the continuation of building our house.
Thanks for reading and have a great wednesday!
Love,
@mitch18

Even though the roads were wet and muddy, his enthusiasm for studying at school was enormous. So, rain and mud are not a hindrance to going to school. I salute him and also you. You are a great mother, willing to take your child to school even though it's raining.
Thank you for that wonderful words ,yes he won't like have an absent even if we does'nt have a nuce weather ,he will go to school.
I hope you stay healthy so you can continue to help your child to school. You are a good mother
