Ginataang manok(chicken stewed in coconut milk)for our lunch

Hey !Hey! Whats up food lovers??

I hope you are all doing fine today ,anyway for todays blog I will share my ginataang manol recipe its a chicken meat stewed in a coconut milk.Its a filipino dishes anay ,a bisdak recipe.

Ginataang manok(My bisaya version)or Chicken stewed in coconut milk

Ingredients

*Chicken meat (slice in small size)
*Coconut milk
*Papaya or sayote
*Any leafy vegetable that available in your kitchen ,mine is water spinach
*Spicies like garlic,onion ,black pepper bellpepper and lemon grass.
*Water and salt to taste

Just a little trivia ,here in the province lemon grass in the number one species availabe always,most of the residents here have a lemon grass in our backyard since we are residing in a mountainous area where far from the market we planted a lemon grass ,its our general species haha .Most of our recipes,lemon grass is our main species.

Procedure

Prepare all the ingredients needed .
Heat a pan and add a small amount of oil and saute the garlic and onion then add the chicken meat and lon grass.

If the meat turns brown ,add the second squeeze coconut milk anyway I squeeze the coconut twice and set a aside the first squeeze and put first tge second milk and waited until the meat is tender.

Then add the slice papaya cooled it for two minutes.Then add the first squeeze milk and add sugar amd pepper to taste and lastly add the avvailable leafy vegetable in you kitchen then serve.

While we are having our lunch ,our neighbor came a snack vendor and sell some palitaw ,it is a filino snacks that made of sticky rice.

Haha we have strict diet for chicken, just once a week. Nerarayuma papang sa manok eh 😂, but I loved reading your recipes: ready na ako mag-asawa so magluto din uwuu.

Arat na sir ,mag asawa na😅
Minsan lang din kami mostly twice a week pero pag wala talagang pera nagkakatay ng manok para pang ulam.
