Our family's year end party! Welcome 2023🎉
Good day hivers and happy new year everyone.Praying to have a fruitful new year with peace and unity.
Before I will share our new year's celebration ,lete ask you first this question .What is your new year's resolution?Well mine?Hmmm I had a lot in mind.First ,I needed to grind more ,hoping I will be more motivate to keep grinding here ,second as what my goal every year but sad to say I did'nt achieve it which is to loss weight haha.
Aside of that resolutions ,I am praying that by this year we can finish our house🙏
A new year celebration with family!
Every new year I celebrated it with my family at my parents home but this time I really needed to save money for our house and I know I can spend money if I will go home at my parents home so I decided not go home now and aside of that my kids does'nt feel well ,they had coughs and cold and also me I experienced a dry throat.
So I decided to stay and celebrate new year's eve with my husband's family.My sister inlaw sent money for this celebration.My only pledge for this celebration is a lumpiang malagkit ,a filipino dessert worth $6 and ofcourse my effort on preparing and cleaning our mess after the celebration.
I asked my husband's niece to help me on setting up the table.My husband's nephew also bought a number balloons and foil for decorations.
We prepared a pork barbecue,shrip,pork steak and some desserts like cake,chiffon cake,sapin-sapin ,lumpiang malagkit ,biko and fruits.
I also prepare this lucky prosperity bowl which I saw on facebook.It said that it will bring us luck but ofcourse our success depends on how we work .
Picture taking is always presents.We took some photos before 12 coz my sister inlaw sent us money for buying a fire works.
When its already 12am ,we light the fireworks and amazed it even if its pricey but my sister inlaw thinking that it only once a year so she spent money for it.
Having this big celebration every year with family is such a great experienced and worth to keep.I may not celebrating it with my parents but still i am happy to be with my second family.
And that would be all for our year end and welcoming a new year party.

Sounds like you had an awesome time with your family Mitch! my mom likes to say that if you light fireworks, it's like burning money but some people love to do that and that's okay, after all it's once a year like your sis-in-law said!
