Happiness is Simpler Than We Think

I used to think that happiness was something I would find when life finally start going the way I wanted.
When the money is enough., when my problems were sorted out.
When I finally get the job wanted, or When my relationships are good.
But honestly, does life ever really get to that point?
There always seems to be something to meet up with. Bills I wasn't expecting, a message that ruins my mood.
Something i planned that didn't work out.
A person I trusted disappointing me, or just one of those days when I wake up and don't even know why I'm feeling off.

I've realized that happiness doesn't always mean being excited or smiling from morning till night.
Sometimes, happiness is much quieter, because I have seen people with great achievements and wealth yet they are still unhappy.

Happiness could simply mean laughing so hard at something stupid that you forget what was bothering you for a few minutes. It's eating something you really like after a stressful day, it's getting a message from someone you didn't expect to hear from.
It's lying down after a long day and finally feeling your body relax.

Happiness could be just listening to a song that somehow matches exactly how you're feeling.
It could be having a conversation with someone where you don't have to pretend you're okay.
And sometimes, it's just sitting alone in peace and realizing that, for that particular moment, nothing is going wrong.
I think we put too much pressure on ourselves to feel happy all the time.

I have come to realize that i can have problems and still laugh, I can be worried about tomorrow and still enjoy today.
I can be going through a difficult season and still have moments that make me genuinely happy.
I've stopped believing that I need a perfect life before I can enjoy the little things.

Maybe happiness isn't about having everything figured out. It's about noticing the little moments that make the struggle feel a bit lighter.
That random laugh, a peaceful evening, a good meal, that unexpected kindness, that one person who makes you feel seen.
Those moments may not solve my problems, but sometimes they give me just enough strength to keep going.
So these days, I'm not chasing some perfect version of happiness.
I'm just trying to enjoy the good moments when they come, even when life isn't perfect.
Because sometimes happiness isn't a huge celebration.
Sometimes it's simply sitting quietly, taking a deep breath, smiling to myself and remaining thankful for the things I have, and forgetting about things I cannot control
And remembering that being alive is enough reason to be happy.

Yeah, happiness to me are those tiny goodnesses compounded together, and immediately we realize the bits and pieces of those tiny things that make us smile, laugh aloud,.. we are automatically happy. Take care!
