Capturing cosplay is a passion of mine, and I really enjoy seeing people come up with creative costumes. It somehow never fails to fill me with a sense of wonder, and I imagine I'm using it as a form of escapism. With so many distractions in the world, it is a nice way to be immersed in something without even having to use my imagination. I'm really just sharing what is in other people's imaginations and presenting it to the world. It is also fun because I know so many of these different characters, and seeing different versions of them each year adds even more novelty to an event really built around things that were created over decades and decades.
