Downtown Calgary is situated along the Bow and Elbow rivers in a valley, which makes for some great views when you are up on the surrounding hills. The first image is looking down on the Stampede grounds, which are also home to the Scotiabank Saddledome and its iconic saddle-shaped roof. The second shot overlooks downtown from cemetery hill and features the recreational sports complex, the Repsol Center.
