Monomad: Dandelion Delight

Dandelions, once they have gone to seed, seem to be made for photography, especially black and white. The colors have left, and all that remains is a white, skeletal outline of what used to be. Monochrome can bring out some neat patterns and details, making them stand out much more. They are a subject I try to capture every so often, as even though each one forms similar patterns, it is the way the surroundings appear around each dandelion that can make each image seem quite different anytime I capture them.

These are beautiful pictures! The amount of detail in the dandelion is amazing, I've always wanted to take some pictures like that. Excellent work!
