Monomad: Parade of Wonders Cosplay
The greatest time to catch so much cosplay right on the street in Calgary is the Parade of Wonders. We are approaching the 10 year anniversary of this parade in a couple of weeks. Over the past year or so I have been finding so many great images that I thought would be well suited to black and white. Many of the ideas represented in al these characters came from the black and white era of film and television so I feel like this style is a throwback to those times. I also feel like everything looks real in monochrome this way and perhaps it is.

It sure is, I think for most people, its a nice escape from everyday life. Anyone can be someone else for a little while, if they want to!
