Black and white photography is a great way to make a scene that might not look as appealing in color into something that stands out a little more. The added contrast and different tones are a big help in finding something more creative in shots that I might not have found as interesting otherwise. The filters I used in post processing were meant to create a vintage black and white look, I really enjoy the borders as well, they seem to highlight the images and make them pop a bit.

I loved the composition of the first photo, and the silk-like effect on the image of the buildings in the background.
