My own eye in macro

The most challenging and satisfying photography I have tried is shooing my own eyeball. It required shooting blind with few clues that I was even capturing my eye at all. I made many attempts lining things up with my Nikon 105mm macro lens and failed many times. Once I was able to line things up and get my eye in focus my arms would get tired from holding the camera up, so I would have to stop and try again. It literally took a couple hundred attempts at shots before I was able to find a few detailed enough for what I was aiming for.
