Keep going.

One thing is certain about me: I love it when people are industrious. I don't care if you are going to remember me in your paradise or if you won't.

You could choose not to, and it will still be very much okay with me. It's your paradise, you get to choose who you remember.

Mind you, I'm creating my own paradise as well. I'm not folding my arms, hoping that I'd be remembered by you.

Even if you don't pass me a glass of juice to quench my thirst, when you get to your promised land, it would still be fine by me. I will route for your success nonetheless. If given the chance, I will cheerlead you to success.

I love seeing people succeeding. It pleases me to see a human who can beat the odds.

The thing is, the system wasn't created for many to succeed. It isn't structured to favour your course. If for anything, it was meant to work against you. It is structured to frustrate you. It was built to bring you to your knees. It's aimed at bringing you to a point where you will stop pushing_that place you'd give up on life. It wants you to surrender to fickle fate, and quit the fight. It wants you to sing, "🎶 what's gonna, be gonna be...🎶".

Stop seeing it as a strange phenomenon, when the odds are against you. Life is so designed. That's how it has always been. But a good number of people have outsmarted its antics, you too can.

In life we were meant to overcome a force, by a greater force.

When you fall, rise again, even if it's with shaky legs; go at it again.

When an obstacle pulls you, rise and go against it again. Sooner or later, you'd gather enough momentum to overcome it.

I don't know a man who failed by refusing to quit; neither do I know any who succeeded by quitting.

Most of us are walking with ease today, not because of the absence of frictional force, which opposes our movement; we are rather walking because we have succeeded in overcoming that force.

Need I tell you that it wasn't always like that? You of all people should know that.

Remember when your bones were weak, but your heart was filled with the excitement of walking. You wanted to walk, just like how you saw other people do. You tried to raise a leg, but fell right back. You weren't discouraged, you kept at it until you eventually won over it. Now you walk freely. Everything in life works that way. The problem is that since we're no more children, some of us have lost the heart of a child. That heart fears no failure; it's so filled with the excitement of success to even spend a second reflecting on the possibility of failing.

That heart doesn't say, "what if I fail?"; it's only concerned about the possibility of succeeding, and the joy that comes with it. You are no longer a child, no argument about that. But you won't get to your kingdom without a child's heart.

Grow your brain, but preserve your heart.

The heart of a child fears no failure, and it knows no shame.

Fear of failure has stopped many from starting. And you can't finish if you don't start.

shame has kept many in their shell.

Shame is a shell people use in locking away their potential.

They don't wanna try because they don't want to be shamed for failing.

Every success story you hear today, came as a result of a person's ability to overcome a force that was working against him.

The kings and queens are meant to be few. A whole lot of others are meant to be puns in the game of life.

The kings and queens, more often than not, dislike it when a pun tries to break into the ranks of royalty. They'd rather prefer that only a few get to join in the royal banquet. They love it quiet there. It's a quiet circle.

But there's a latent energy in every man, it's sad that only a minute number gets to discover it.

It's the strength to keep going, when the world seems to be against you.

So many people we celebrate today, were rejected more than a hundred times.

There's a strength in you. Keep going.

P.S: This was purely a free write. I just started, not knowing how it will end. Tell me, did it end well?

This started and ended well and the point will surely be taken by anyone that reads it diligently.

This race is a very long one and we are all in in it. We may not have started the same time and we may not reach our destination the same time but we all need to know that there is a destination and there is no shortcut. Haha.

Funny, isn't it?

We are all competing against ourselves. Being better than we were yesterday is all that matters.

It's a marathon man. We just have to keep going, irrespective of the odds.

Thanks bro.
