The impact of floods that are detrimental to the community, especially for rice farmers

How are you my beloved hive friends, I am very happy to be with you all, even though we are from different places but we always share articles on hive, I really miss you all, and I hope that all hive friends are in good health and always in the protection of the almighty . In my days when I open hives I am very happy to see posts that friends have shared, I am very entertained and also add insight.

Praise be to God who has given blessings and health so that we can re-share posts on hive on this happy occasion. First of all, I would like to thank the honorable ones, namely all hive friends wherever they are.

On this occasion, I would like to share some of the posts that I have prepared, namely postings on the flood situation that occurred in the Ulee Gle area, Pidie Jaya Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia. Last night it rained very hard which flushed the Ulee Gle area, it rained from 20 pm to 2 pm. Several villages in the area were flooded, the water began to rise at around 1 pm. I also visited several villages that were still passable, and the worst ones were Babah Krueng, Pohroh, Senoeng, Blang Kuta and Drien Tujoh villages. In some of these villages we couldn't pass because of the high depth.

Residents in several villages that were inundated by the flood began to worry because at 1 p.m. the rain had not stopped. My friends and I also help residents who are saving their livestock. But we couldn't take a picture because the place was dark and the lights were out.

At 4 pm we rested, then at 8 am I visited again with my nephew. I got some pictures, but the location I photographed is still in a place where the water depth is still low because in a flooded place with a depth of 1 meter I can't get through it. The impact of the current flood has caused a lot of harm to the community, especially to farmers, in this area they are just starting to cultivate rice but now all the rice they have planted has been damaged due to flooding. With the latest flooding, the rice that is there is also disturbed by pests such as golden snails. There were no casualties in this flood, but only harm to public property.
