He made this with love,

dream catcher

It was one o'clock in the night and she got up in a panic. Drenched in sweat, she started looking around.

"What happened Elsa Why are you so nervous? As usual, you must had a bad dream." Lily said getting up from her bed.

"Yes, Lily. The same terrible dream again. I don't know why I keep having dreams. God knows when they will leave my life." Elsa said, wiping her brow.

"Elsa, I have a cure for your dreams. If you try, you can get rid of these nightmares." Lily said comforting Elsa. Really?

"Tell me quickly, Lily. I can do anything to get rid of them." Elsa replied hopefully.

"You must have heard about Dream Catcher. I have used it too. It is the best solution to avoid bad dreams." Lily said as she gave Elsa water.

"Yes, I heard about it, but I'm not sure it will really help me or not but I will get a dream catcher from the market in the morning." Elsa said while taking the bed again.

Morning arrived and Elsa reached the market to buy a dream catcher. After searching the shops, she finally saw it. She entered the shop.

"Hello ma'am, how can I help you?" It was the voice of the shopkeeper.

"Mr....?" Elsa wanted to know his name.

"Yes, mam my name is Danny how can I help you?" Danny asked the same question again.

"I have terrible dreams at night. I want to get rid of these dreams. I don't want to see these dreams anymore. You understand what I'm trying to say, don't you?" Elsa said everything in one breath.

"Oh, so you need a dream catcher. Yes, I'll bring you one so you won't have any bad dreams again." Danny said as he headed for the storeroom.

"Yes, I want a dream catcher. I don't believe it will work, but I still want to try it." Elsa called out from behind.

Five minutes later, Danny brought out a feathered decoration piece, which was dream catcher, and handed it to Elsa.

"Thank you, Mr. Danny. How much did it cost?" Elsa said as she grabbed the dream catcher.

"You've to pay $10. And I assure you that now Bad dreams will not come." Danny reassured.

"I don't have cash, I can pay you online. Your number?" It seemed like Elsa wanted to get to know Dany better.

"Yes of course." Danny gives his number to Elsa.

After paying online, Elsa left and hung the dream catcher in her room. It was nighttime. And Lily had also come to the hostel.

*"Look, I have bought it. and if I have a bad dream today too, I won't leave you," Elsa teased.

"Trust me, it won't come, now go to sleep." Saying this, Laila went to sleep.

It was only 12 in the night that Elsa woke up again.

"Leave me. Leave me. Please leave me." Elsa screamed.

"Elsa Elsa, what happened? Who is holding you? There is no one here. No thief has entered anywhere." Lily said while looking around.

"No, the same dream again. I think this hostel is awful. We should change our hostel." Elsa said, wiping her sweat.

"Looks like you didn't get the right dream catcher. Return it and get another one. And now let me sleep. I'm so tired of your dreams myself." Lily said a little harshly.

Elsa was thinking in her heart that she might have some illness. Thinking about this, her night passed and she spent the whole night without sleeping.

The next day she went to Danny's shop again.

"Take this, your dream catcher. You were saying it would work, but nothing changed. The same dream again. I have already told you it's useless." Elsa said, slapping her hand on the counter.

"See, I don't think it's an effective Dream Catcher for you. I'll give you the other one. But it'll cost three dollars extra," Danny said, handing Elsa the second dreamcatcher.

*"Even if it doesn't matter. You guys are just sitting around looting. Well, give this here and take three dollars." Saying that, Elsa left shop again.

It was night again and nothing changed at all. Now Elsa was determined not to use a dream catcher. Rather, she thought to hit dreamcatcher on the danny's face. Well, amid this struggle, morning came and she went to Danny again.

"Give me my money back and hold on to your dream catcher. This is absolute nonsense. If there was going to be an effect, it should have been the turn first." Elsa said angrily.

"Look, I want to help you with all my heart. Tell me what kind of dreams you have." Danny said as he sat Elsa down in a chair.

Elsa, who was melted by his words, began to tell him about her dreams.

"I feel like someone is pulling me down. Feels like I'm in a deep pit. And 10 12 hands on my body. Pulling me towards them. A horrible figure moving towards me. I close my eyes to avoid it but some hands keep my eyes open." Elsa told him everything while crying.

"Well, don't worry. I'll make you a dream catcher with my own hands. Um, and I'm sorry that you didn't like the first dream catcher. Just give me an hour and I will call you. This time I guarantee that no such dream will come to you again." Danny said trying to comfort Elsa.

Hearing this, Elsa felt a little encouraged and left. An hour later Elsa calls on the phone inside.

"Hello Miss Elsa, I have prepared a dream catcher, come and take it." It was Danny's voice.

She turns off her phone and went to the shop.

"Bring on the dream catcher. I'll Try it too, and then I'll tell you it works or not. Tell me how much money it is?" This time, Elsa spoke a little sweetly.

"This time I won't take any money from you. This is a gift from me to you. And yes, you will tell me in the morning." Danny looked at him with loving eyes and then said.

Elsa blushed and walked away. Night fell and Elsa fell asleep.

"Get up, Elsa. It's noon, how much sleep? It's a holiday, it doesn't mean you sleep all day." Lily woke up Elsa.

Hearing this, Elsa immediately sat up.

"12 in the day 12 in the night." Elsa asked in surprise and went to the window.

"What happened, why are you so surprised? Hey, you didn't even wake up at night. Didn't you have a bad dream at night? It seems that Dream Catcher has started to work for you. Thank God, my sleep will not get disturb anymore." Lily said while drinking tea.

"Yes, yes, Lily, yes, I didn't have any dreams at night. I slept all night. Can you imagine? I can't believe it. Pinch me. I'm not dreaming," Elsa said, extending her arm toward Leila.

Lily pinched Elsa.

" It hurts, it means it's not a dream."

Saying this, Elsa washed her hands, grabbed her bag, and started going to the store.

"Where are you going, Elsa?" Lily asked quizzically.

"I'm going to the store to see Danny and thank him." Elsa walked over to Danny.

Elsa reached the store

"How can I thank you, Danny? I still can't believe I slept through the night. I didn't have any bad dreams." Elsa said with a swing.

"I am very happy to hear. Don't thank me. Because of me, someone has benefited. I am very happy. Well, this earring of yours fell here yesterday. Take it. And when you have time, you will come to see me. Some memories have been associated with you." Danny said fondly.

"Well, I will come to meet you. I think that somehow I have become quite attached to you." Saying this, Elsa left from there.

"I'll wait for you." These were Danny's words.

Elsa turned and looked at Danny in a lovely way.

Elsa never had a bad dream after that day.

Thankfully, her case with bad dreams was sorted out when Danny made the dream catcher himself.

At first I wanted to say Lily was a bad friend not caring about her friends incessant nightmare but to think she was the one that proffered a solution later makes me all happy. This is a beautiful read. Although I have a little question, could it be the dreamcatcher she bought from the market didn't work because she didn't have the faith that it would?

Yes at the very first time. She don't believe. But when he made it by himself then a hope was created so therefore

There are multiple setbacks in this story before the final resolution to the conflict. This has a nice way of building the story and the tension. The first thing we want to know though is... what did Danny do differently in making the Dreamcatcher for Elsa that brought an end to her nightmares, and therefore resolution to the conflict? The ending therefore leaves us wanting a bit more. We know your MC no longer has nightmares, but we don't know why the final Dreamcatcher worked. Was it coincidence? Was it something special that Danny did? As an aside, Lily also became Laila at some point, so make sure that you edit your stories in future to catch these issues.

Thank you for writing in The Ink Well.
