A multilingual dictionary, that doesn't just tell you what something means, but where it's used, and by who. ...Source

Those of us whose English is not our first language sometimes come to the situation when we'd be unable to find the translation of a word, and this is true for other languages as well.

Reason is simple, other languages don't have a word for that specific word, this is the very reason for the adoption of different words in a language from other languages as well.

These words are untranslatable, and "Untranslatable" provides us all the background information about that word, its origin, where it was used by whom and why.

Untranslatable also covers different dialects and accents, used in different parts of a country or world.

That's really cool! I've definitely run into words that don't translate here and there... Once, I had to look at the website of a French supermarket to understand a product that Google Translate didn't understand...

Another time, hitting Google Translate did not translate the only words I didn't understand in a Swedish friend's post.

Translating the way people speak rather than the text books is so important.

I am sure, this would be helpful for you in many situation while writing your stories. It'd be good for the characters from different linguistic origins.

Wish you a lovely day.

I hadn't really thought about that very much, especially as I'm not usually on Earth for the stories... but they have Earth influence. And every language has its unique approach to colloquialisms, so it will be fun to play a bit and see what there is... it may inspire.

Thanks for the thoughts.
