avatar

Hello Hive Friends…
Hopefully in this new year we will always be healthy and happy. This time I will review the East Java Gado-Gado which is rich in spices with a delicious and savory taste. Before reviewing I will tell you a little, I bought this East Java Gado-Gado after I walked around the housing to exercise with my husband and children. This Gado-Gado stall opened about a year ago, but I bought it just now out of curiosity about the taste. Previously, I only bought fried chicken or fried chicken. This stall is open from morning until noon or until the food is sold out.

What is East Java Gado-Gado

Gado-gado East Java is a typical food from East Java region in Indonesia that uses ingredients such as fried tempeh, fried tofu, boiled eggs, potatoes, bokor lettuce, long beans, bean sprouts, and rice cake. The ingredients for the peanut sauce consist of fried peanuts, garlic, red chilies, brown sugar, salt, coconut milk, tamarind water. For the topping, fried onions, crackers, soy sauce, chili sauce. This food can be eaten for breakfast in the morning. Because this food is heavy, it is quite full when you eat it.
In ancient times, gado-gado was a food when the rice stock ran out and there were only vegetables to be used as food, because there were no side dishes as food. It is the food limitations that make the people there creative in processing the existing food with peanut sauce, of course, so that the gado-gado is more delicious to eat.

To buy East Java Gado-gado, I walked around the housing estate. Seen from a distance the stall that I will review the Gado-Gado. The stall is called Warung Jawa Timur, it's called East Java because those who sell it come from the East Java area. There is a banner that reads Warung Jawa Timur which has a fairly diverse menu including chicken penyet kremes, chicken geprek, fried chicken, chicken serundeng, chicken skin cryspy, mushroom cryspy, fried egg indomie noodles, boiled egg indomie noodles, various hot and cold drinks, as well as menus. which I will review this time is East Java gado-gado.

How The Taste

When the food has been served, I read the prayer first. For my first bite, I took a boiled egg, the peanut sauce combined with the egg had a good taste. I just tasted the peanut sauce, it tasted good, none of them dominated each other. Then I continued to enjoy Gado-gado with vegetables so that everything mixed in the mouth hmmm it tastes delicious. It's not complete without eating it with crackers. I don't like the lontong with the hodgepodge, because the texture is not that soft. The difference between East Java's Gado-Gado and other gado-gado lies in the ingredients and seasonings used. Over all I really like it because the taste of the peanut sauce is delicious.

How The Price

For the price of this East Java Gado-Gado, it is only priced at Rp. 10,000 or if you follow the dollar price then you only need to spend as much as U $ 1Dollar. Very cheap of course. I ordered two portions of gado-gado for my husband and I.
