Dealing with an unfair treatment

I believe lot of people are familiar with the word 'unfair' because we live in an unjust world. This world is full of injustices to the extent that if you are innocent, you might doubt your innocence because of how lies were packaged against you.

I know one has to deal with all phases of life but as human beings, we all have to be treated fairly among ourselves because there is absolutely nothing different among humans, we are all the same. It's a small world, and we can't be in existence forever but not everyone knows this. The way some people treat their fellow human beings unjustly makes me feel sad cause I can't comprehend how wicked the heart of some humans can be.

In my journey in life, I have been treated unfairly and today I'll be sharing my most recent experience with you all.

Sometimes ago, I worked in a private school as a mathematics teacher in a secondary school very close to my house. So after closing time, I stay behind to teach some students extra class for one and half hours.

A particular woman called Mrs A has a child in JS 3 who was academically poor that almost all teachers wondered how she had passed the entrance examinations to the school. Some teachers even went to the extent of complaining to the school admin that the girl wasn't supposed to be giving admission to the school at all.

The girl was so poor that I also wondered if she passed through primary school. But we all know private schools, all they know is money, they careless whether a child is academically sound or not; so far the parents can afford the school fees.

So one day, I was called from the staff room that Mrs A wanted to see me, I was surprised because almost every teacher doesn't want to have anything to do with the woman and her daughter. So why me?

Surprisingly, Mrs A asked me to take her daughter private class after closing time. I politely rejected her offer on the ground that I've gotten more than enough students for evening class.

But that's not the only reason anyways, I've heard teachers while gisting that the woman don't like paying for any extra service rendered by a teacher, she just needs somewhere to keep her daughter till she comes back from work.

So I told her that I won't be able to teach her daughter, she left angrily but I can't allow my efforts to be wasted because the girl was very poor academically.

A week later I was called by the proprietor of the school that a parent reported me to him that I was rude and I've not been discharging my duty accordingly to the students, to the extent that he threatened to sack me if others should report again.

I was surprised because that hasn't happened before, I later went to inquire from the school admin who reported me to the proprietor, only for me to discover that its was Mrs A who lied against me because I refused her offer.

I was so furious, so the following day while she was dropping her daughter at the school gate, I confronted her and warned her strictly never to try such rubbish with me again.

Everyone present were surprised but I didn't care (at worst the school will sack me). I told her that the fact that I didn't accept to teach her daughter privately doesn't mean she should lie against me to the proprietor. She was dumbfounded because she didn't know I can confront her.

Till I left the school, I acted as if she didn't exist and go about with whatever I'm doing. I hate to be treated in such an ill manner, so to avoid having irrelevant issues with her, I just put her in her place.

Thanks for visiting!

She shouldn't have reported you to the school authority, thats not proper at all.i lobe the way you reacted. Extra lesson is by choice, personally, I don't do that because of the stress and drama attached, you will work extra and some parents won't even pay.

For the child, I feel sorry for her, you know every kid has their learning pace, I was also very dull while in primary school but then, God helped me out. Not for the mother but for love sake, draw the child to yourself and just help her in the way you can, I just have a feeling that she would be transformed if she is shown love.

The woman was just so dramatic that's why people are avoiding her. It was her negligence that affected the girl. Not that she's that dull, but she just doesn't understand anything that she's been taught, I don't know why.

I've already left the school, so I don't know anything about her again

Home lesson shouldn't be by force. The problem is that some parents that have failed in their duties are looking for who to push their blames on. If she was serious with the girl's education right from time, it wouldn't have been that worse.

Thank you oooo, lots of parents thought teachers are the escape route to their failures. They don't know that the home is a child's first learning center. Thanks for visiting

I genuinely feel so bad for the child and it is very dissapointing that the mother had probably given up on her. That's why she didn't want to pay people for teaching her daughter, but just wants to leave her with them to do other things. She taking her frustration out on you was really bad of her, she really could have done better. So sorry she did that to you.

The woman is just a failure and doesn't want to do anything to help her daughter at all.

Well I'm not surprised because I'm a teacher and I've seen some children like that before, I just pray God will help them later cus humanly speaking, we can only try.

It's very painful to see someone lie against you, before I use to cry when things like that happen but now I'll fight the person oo lol.
