Relationship deal breaker for me

As we all know that relationship is not an affair one should toy with, being in romantic relationship is not a joke. Every single being must be extremely careful on deciding who to spend the rest of their life with.

It takes the grace of God to see a faithful fellow because no one is perfect except our Creator. Going into a romantic relationship is not easy because it takes everything in you and when you seal the deal in marriage that's the end, it's like a journey of no return cause whatever you see in it, is for you to mend with.

So when it comes to relationships, one needs to be calm and try every possible best to know how to handle every situation and when you see red flags during courtship is better to pick race and let go so as not to be harmed.

No one can be judged by their look, someone like me had been misjudged on several occasions. I'm a peace loving person who lives a very simple life and also loves minding my business. But most times people judge me by my look and complexion, they thought I would be the social type not knowing I'm a lover of my space. I love solitude life, I don't like anything whatsoever to disturb me

So my kind of a guy is someone with great understanding and not too social, someone we can both share our dreams and work together to achieve it. So if I can get all these attributes in a guy then I wouldn't mind being with such a guy even though he might be disorganized or being a maximalist, so far he is ready to learn from me and work on himself, I'm okay with that.

I vividly remember a guy who was persistent for a relationship with me while I was at the University. Though he is a very nice guy who is very organized and I mean very very organized, he is a sharp guy which I intended to give a chance but I noticed he does things without consideration and also in excess, I can say he is the maximalist president.

I discovered I can't deal with him because he frequently spends beyond control and even borrows for a show off, his ideologies are very strange to me.

He believes in spending everything on him lavishly in a day without retaining a kobo for other things. He also loves spending on events, he's like one of the happening guys in town. I tried to caution him and see benefits of living a minimalist lifestyle, that one needs to save during the rainy days because of emergencies but he was adamant

he always says tomorrow would take care of itself, let's live today as it is.

This kind of attitude doesn't go down well with me, so I had to end everything with him even though I haven't say yes to him. His attitude is a deal breaker for me and I believe it might lead to a lifetime of regrets if I should date him because I saw the red flags.

On the long run, during my final year I met my fiance who is the man of my dream. He is a very organized guy and also a minimalist, he does his things low key and doesn't do beyond his capacity, he is a good listener with unique characters and I can't wait to walk down the aisle with him.

I know we are both not perfect but we are working on ourselves to make our relationship work. We love and respect each other and also shares the same vision in which we are working towards to achieve.
