Flowers
Petals so soft and blooms so fragrant,
Gloriously showing off their perfection,
Relishing in the spotlight,
Everyone fawns over their beauty,
Knowing it will not last forever.

According to MoMoGrOw every flower deserves a short poem. Why?
Did you know that the word anthology which means: "a published collection of poems or other pieces of writing" comes from the Greek word anthologia and literally means "a collection of blossoms"?
Flowers are a beautiful part of nature and a wonderful addition to our lives. We share flowers on some of the most important occasions, such as birthdays, weddings, valentines day, funerals, hospital visits etc. Flowers simply add to our mood and makes us cheerful and happy. They are most often shared to convey thoughts or human emotions.
Flowers have become an important part of our lives. They are also used as decorations to enhance the beauty and character of our surroundings and sometimes as food.
For different occasions we share different types of flowers or flower arrangements. For instance we would never give a wreath to someone during a marriage proposal or wedding.
Flowers will always be a part of our lives - "we say a lot with flowers".

I really have been loving roses particularly of late, though for years I have never understood them. I realise now they are heart medicine, and I'd been neglecting my heart. Now, I can't get enough of them - like this lovely post!
Aww thanks so much. @riverflows The heart is so special. I particularly appreciate flowers - I think they are good for my heart 😀, and my soul. I am happier when they are around. Some fade too quickly but I always have my favorite flowering plant at home. I will share a short poem about it soon.😀

We have been eating a lot of flowers recently. Amazing delicate flavours. Thought the nasturtiums are more peppery.

I also like that you enjoy flowering plants. Have you tasted the flower of a spring onion (scallion)? I was very excited to grow it and see it for myself too.
