Good morning my beloved friends and members of the community. Hope we are doing well and the summer heat isn't obstruction our activities.

Recently it occured to me that as a seasmtress I might as well make a fabric cataloged of different print, designs and colors. It will be a good source of inspiration thesame way that sitting in a garden in an evening cab give us such effect.

Have you seen outfits where designers use two of more types of Fabric mixture to sew a single outfit. A dress can have different color of blouse and skirt or thesame color with different print.
I am yet to try any of those of which I can wait to make my very first design.

Starting with having a fabric catalogue with different colors, design and texture is a good way.
How I wish that I have a cubboard in my working place already it will be easier to start buying and arranging these lovely prints there.

Now take a look at this firrrreeeful fabric

Right from across the streets I was passing this morning and noticed this from afar, I screamed and was like, this is exactly what I want for me. A fabric catalogue of very lovely and inviting Fabrics like this.

The store owner was a young lad who has just started business and you can see some of the things on display here

I stopped by the store, took some closer look and of course bought 2troyser lengths of fabrics.
My sister was told me that she was waiting for the day I will go bankrupt from buying too many fabrics.

There is a fabric obsession building up here, I just can't get my eyes off some good fabrics and will do all it takes to go back and buy them. I have found dome prints that aren't really attractive but been a seasmtress I always put in my best to bring out the beauty of any type of fabric even if it means that I will embellish or mix it with other materials.

Measuring out my fabric here

These fabrics are really mind-blowing and I won't forgive myself if I don't get a portion of these.

The best part of it is that I learnt something this morning 🌅🌄, to create a fabric catalogue like this for myself as a source of Sewing Inspiration...

The materials look beautiful, and there is this dress my tailor hung in her shop that I saw, she combined two different materials to make, and the outcome of the dress was so lovely, the materials even look alike on The dress.

I now understand why my cousin is so obsessed with her fabric catalogue
So obsessed that she doesn’t even allow me to go close…jk
The fabrics are really beautiful and I think this was a great idea.

Hi. I've seen those dresses you mention, the 2 different pieces in one dress and I didn't think they matched at all. I'm sure that depends on the designer or the textile team and stuff. On the other hand, having that catalogue to hand would save you time and as you say, it's like looking at the garden.
