Hello Friends

Please don't come for me, I'm not the bride, I'm just a party guest who is delightful that one of her male besty is getting hooked up.
A fellow hiver is getting married
One whom we have lived in a community together for long supporting each other's dreams and careers. A talented and hardworking brother who has been a blessing to my life. I won't forgive myself if I fail to rejoice with my brother from another mother on his wedding day.

The wedding is this weekend and guess what my needlework family, my outfit for the occasion isnt ready at all. The dress code for the wedding is white dress, blouse and skirt with our traditional Hair tye called "Gele".

My outfit has delayed for several reason and has now entered a rush hour. Partly because I am a seasmtress and feel that what ever outfits I want to make for me will be done in a split second (which will never be the case in reality) and other reasons are the series of engagement and responsibility I shoulder.

Since the color for the day is white I bought some fabrics yesterday.
I had wanted to buy some silk fabric that will fit in for what I wanted to make unfortunately I couldn't get the desired fabric that would have been perfect for contouring.
I got the lining and other needed material and started working.

I love making patterns for all of my outfits so that any observed mistake will first be corrected on the paper.

The fabric gave me a lot of headache, you can see how squeezed it was in the first picture that is how fabric are generally in the market You have to go through rigorous stress to iron it out before cutting. Without first ironing the fabrics, you may have excess allowances added to the clothes while stitching it

It's advisable to iron out fabrics before cutting especially if they they clothes will be sewn into something for special occasion as this.

This is my first fitting of the dress and I can see several misfitting already for a dress I had pictured making in within a short time.

I just hope that this will be ready in time for use. I'm left with lots of adjustments and the embellishment which is a part I look forward to.
Adding touches to this simple white will wow everyone by the time I pour out the creative imaginations in my head.

Was it just me that was expecting to see the giver’s username so I congratulate him
I wonder where seamstress get their superpowers from. My cousin also always thinks he can sew about three hours to an occasion especially if she’s the one wearing the dress and she actually finds a way to do it too
The dress is pretty, can’t wait to see the finishing and pictures from the event

My regards to her
Hope that I can equally make this like she does, though I'm a bit slow with sewing.
Thanks for coming around always dear friend.

Most seamstress are like that, we think we can actually get things done within shortest time, then we found out it's not so when we are already there, I'm in same shoe as you now, I have outfit to make but I'm thinking there is still time not until rushing hour. With this, I think I have to get to work now😃😃😃😃.

The dress is looking beautiful already.
