It is an amazing Monday here as we had showers all through the night and the weather is cool and peaceful this morning.
I hope we are thriving in good health of mind and body.

These are some of the few outfit designs we had created with Taimah for a year old daughters birthday.

Children are adorable and if we could manage to dress them up in quality outfits, you can only imagine how cute they will be.

Sewing cloth for a year and beyond babies can be challenging in terms of what measurements to use but since I have found my way around it, I could recommend using these measurements.

• Shoulder 6-8 depending on how chubby or slim a baby is.
• Bust line 3-4inch depth
• Chest 20" +++ circumference
• Waist 18" +++ circumference
• Half length/waist length 5-7
• Full dress length 20+++

With this range, you won't go wrong.

Some embroidery to beautify your babies outfits.

I have taking us through the process of making this lovely dress

Toping that up, we could add different style of embroidery to brighten babies dresses up using different materials, here I used tulle in this manner

I have cut pieces of tulle in sizes and pulled them up to a ruffle..
This can be used at the sleeve and base of babies dress for embellishment, couples with the bead work you see, all hand made.

You can also think of adding a beautiful bow at the zipper section of babies outfits, its an additional beauty to behold on that spot.

This is yet another dress designed with traditional adire fabrics, a sweet heart net yoke dress with tulle ball and a peplum flair at the waist line.
I was too busy to snap the making process but the end result is just this beautiful dress I can't I will like us to see, these were all cut and sewn using the measurements range above.

A photoshoot section was held for the baby at one year of age, still with the photography, it was a beautiful moment celebrating that little one with taimah my boss....

We make lovely and neatly finished outfit at the store and am glad to be a part of this.
