Cost of Buying good health, Emergency funds or Health Insurance
Hello Hive.
Our health is of important priority regardless of the financial status we are hoping to attain in life.
What will your millions worth if you don't have a healthy body to enjoy them.
While we talk about investors emotions and how they need to accept profit or loss in good faith we can equally talk about the physical health appearance to see if they would be capable of living long to enjoy the wealth they have acquired.
I can tell of a rich man who is so wealthy yet his money cannot save him from cancer and funny enough he didn't see the signs coming or cared to live a cautious life that could have prevented some of these illnesses.
Which would you prefer among the two.
Emergency funds where you personally save some amount for unforseen circumstances like this kind of health issues
Health insurance where you pull resources collectively with other citizens and keep this with the government for treatment of persons involved when the need arises...
How much does health cost in your various countries.
For instance a state health insurance in kwara starts from the range of a hundred dollars where you register and pay this amount into the government state NHIA account and your health bills is covered for one year.
The paid amount covers for 90% of your drugs cost and you only pay a %10 amount for any drugs your purchase, the paid amount also covers for consultations fees and other bills.
To me this is just fair enough since I once had my dad undergo a surgery under this insurance policy and we paid only a fair sum that would have just been a large chunk we might not have been able to afford in situations like that.
Emergency funds might just be good as well, unless you are very buoyant to have saved a large chunk for whatever health situation that may surface
Regardless of either health insurance or an emergency fund to save the situation, always ensure to invest in your health as well, it guarantees how much you will enjoy life after becoming wealthy.

This is fair to be honest. Still, many can't afford it 😕
My dear, that $100 is around 46k ooo... Most people don't earn that monthly, though its 46k for the whole year. Me self no register thinking that I may not get sick the whole year even though I spend twice that amount when the issh happens.
I guess only the middle class can afford that amount yearly.

With the $100, a maximum of three (3) are covered and a minimum of one(1). It is still a fair card to me. The benchmark of N45, 000 is also put to FasTrack the attainment of Universal Health Coverage in Nigeria
