Creative sleeve design for your traditional dresses using African print fabrics
Hello Hive
Today I decided to try something new with a sleeve design.
I was getting fed up of using regular sleeves for my outfits hence maybe this is just what I needed.
A little touch of embroidery on a tulle wouldn't be a bad idea, I needed these glitters and for this African print fabric to shine for once.
Once I had the sleeves I desired cut to fit my off shoulder dress I went ahead to cut out the pieces of fabric from the original dress...
To this tiny flower roses i added some paper stay to give them some firm and weight
And the final step was when I used the candle gum to stick them to the tulle at my desired locations.
Then a band of about 3inches to secure the edge of the sleeve completed this design.
Thank goodness for this inspiration I was able to complete this dress and now I have a gorgeous traditional off shoulder dress to slay with.
And you won't believe that the sleeves are the only thing keeping this beauty squeezed up in my stack of WIP.
Having the worst photographys ever I couldn't get a beautiful picture from a desired angle, making my cloth look shabby.
But nevertheless I just weaver some simple corn roll for my head and its adding some much light to my life, this was important because I haven't been making my hair or looking good lately.
And you can't imagine my excitement, having just 4-5 more outfits to finish up all the abandoned and WIP projects...
