A beautiful midday to us. The day is coming on so well as bright and beautiful as this dress that I have just completed. I started cutting this dress yesterday evening and was able to complete it before morning.
I usually take advantage of the fact that we often have power supply only at night to sew clothes.

I'm able to cut the clothes during the evening time then go ahead to use the electric machine to stitch the dress together at night.

The lady has a very small physique and when they brought the clothes for me to sew without picking any desired designed I was worried about what to sew for them if this multiple color fabrics that will be pretty. I have gotten this exact fabric for myself earlier when our other neighbor used it for a wedding outfit but this my neighbor kept her own piece of the dress and want to use it to sew Christmas wear for her daughter.

I started with cutting the front and back piece of the clothes. Cutting each piece

Next I was able to sew the neckline of the outfit before proceeding to take further measurements

After that was done I arranged all the pieces on the floor and measured out the dart linea. I usually like measuring it out so as to have some beat dart lines.

Next I decided to cut a flair and add it to base of the dress. Since I wasn't giving any specific design to sew I decided to try out my creativity.

Having attached the flair to the base of the dress, I got some bias strip which I then sew on the flair forming 3layers of the thin bias strip here.

The sleeves and the zipper attachments were the last part of the outfit which I had cut and fixed as well. Having done that you can checkout what I had made of the colorful fabric here.

This is a design I have come up with on my own, I really hope that they will love this design because sometimes a design will please a designer while the owner of the dress may have a different view.

I had earlier wanted to sew a different sleeves maybe something a little more exaggerating but the fabric wasn't enough to do that hence I had to keep it simple like this. I hope that these sleeves complements the dress and that my neighbors daughter will love this.
