Deciding to live expensive is a choice. An extravagant lifestyle attracts some financial implications.
Everything you wear can be so expensive from head to toe, starting from wearing luxury hairs, to your outfits and shoes.

When we make this kind of outfits and use expensive materials and embellishments, the cost of making outfit like this varies because you have to pay for the time spent to sew the dress and diy of hand embellishments that consumes alot of our time.

Some outfits can take one a whole week or even months before the design is completed and the more time spent on designing such outfits, the more expensive it becomes.

In order to determine how much we can charge a client for an outfit we determine the following.

• Labour input
• Time
• Cost of materials, fabrics and accessories used.

This is one lovely design coming from our fashion store in Taimah outfit.
Approximately two weeks was used to couple this outfit together.

First we started with sourcing for materials (pearls, stones, appliques, beads and the likes) from the store.

Then the sewing of the dress into a bustier blouse with yoke net, bra cup an the likes.
With bra cups inserted you don't need a brassier when putting on the dress.
Next was the embellishments that took me and the others workers days to get it done...

First we made petals from fabrics.

Embellished the petals then sew them to the dress.

The tedious task here is that all the embellishments is done with hand sewing using needles and thread.

Gums and blues do not work on some of these pearls and one has to creatively determine where to sew each.
Everyday was a day for continuous embellishments until this outfit became what you now see here.

Its festive season and about this time of the year, we have alot of orders coming in from people who want to sew outfits for marriages, ceremonies and lots of other celebrations.

We are often busy and work everyday losing fat because of these tedious task.
Alot of sacrifices really go into fashion designs just to make our clients look good and feel good.
