It is a thing of joy to plant a seed and watch it grow countless times I have found satisfaction harvesting food and vegetables grown by myself.
This way I am sure of the nutrients quality and risk free inorganic chemicals that would have bothered me. Vegetables grown in the market here have very large leaf sizes often influence by the use of excessive inorganic fertilizer.
Everyone is after making enough money from their sales of vegetables and since the inorganic chemicals make them grow faster, vegetable farmers prefers to use that.
While organic chemicals would have been better I don't like using cow dungs or poultry droppings either sometimes this dungs contains harmful worms and we can get into trouble if our vegetables are t properly cooked before we eat them.
Organic chemicals can be prepared in two ways, the compost from our decomposing plant and food waste or the animal dungs I mentioned.
Although this is not the context of this post .

For today I will like us to know that gradually I am beginning to harvest vegetables from my home garden for food.

I got fresh vegetables

And scent leaves here

With my other curry, thyme and Maggi cubes for my soup.
Here I have cut and washed the veggies in warm water.

Added some palm oil in cooking, deep frying the blended white melon seed
Accompanied with some scotch bonnet, onions and spring onions

And little bit of chicken broth went into the mixture, and lastly the vegetables and scent leaves for flavor

Having done this, I allowed it to boil for 7mins and my soup is ready

You can enjoy the vegetable and white melon seed with semovita or any kind of turning food.

I hope this soup is still remaining because I am coming over to have a taste of it....it looks so yummy 😋

This is one of the importance of growing our own food. At least we know it's fresh and it doesn't have too much chemicals.
