Hello Hive

Check out the peplum blouse I made for myself for Sunday wear. If you ask me how my Sunday went I will tell you to check out these pictures. Sundays are usually my brightest days I feel excited to go to church, meet with people, sing, worship and dance.

I am not usually privilege to go for outings, dates and all of those social gatherings people of my age often go for. Most of the time you will find me working on the farm or staying indoors for most of the week. The only time I get to meet people where we gist, play and have fun is in the church in Sunday. Sunday services here arent boring at all, the musi, dance and everything keeps us lively, makes hope come alive again and it's like we get filled with more grace, strength and enthusiasm to face the coming week.

The choir uniform for yesterday asked that ladies be dressed in colorful peplum blouses and skirt.
Since I didn't wanna be left out and I didn't have a peplum blouse I decided to sew one for myself on Saturday night.

Rather than purchasing a new fabric I took out one of my Work in progress dresses and decided to transform it.

I measured out my half length and cut it out from the blouse.

Then I unstitched the flair that was at the lower portion of my dress.

And used the remaining parts of the dress to cut out the sleeve for my blouse here.

I trimmed the flair to my desired measurements.

And then started stitching the clothes. From the hemming to the inseam I have to closed up all stitched as it was a very terrible frail fabrics kept pulling out at every place I cut it with a scissors.

After I have gotten all the pieces I needed I continued stitching the blouse.

And when I was done with that, I did a little ironing

And a beautiful blouse came alive which I had worn with a matching facinator to church.

I have used what I have to meet up with my needs. What do you think of my blouse.

The peplum blouse really came together. The fit and shape give it a really nice look.
